Found Deceased - TN - Evelyn Boswell, 15 months, Sullivan County, 26 DEC 2019 *MOM ARRESTED* #9

5/14/20: Theft: During a preliminary hearing today, her father David Jones said she had been living at his home and was always welcome there, leading Judge Mark Toohey to dismiss a burglary charge. She is still facing a charge of theft and taking contraband into jail, all unrelated to the death of her granddaughter. Judge Toohey also ruled that Angela could be a flight risk and kept her bond at $50K. Judge Mark Toohey found probable cause to charge Angela with theft under $10,000, introduction of contraband into a penal facility, possession of counterfeit money & criminal simulation. Angela was bound over to the Sullivan County Grand Jury & was given a bond of $50,000, which is separate from her bond in Bristol related to a stolen vehicle which was sought by investigators in the Evelyn Boswell case. Bound over date for the grand jury is July 17. Next pretrial hearing on 10/1/20.

Dated article, but this rings true:

“Psychoanalyst Dr. Bethany Marshall said that the location of the child's remains may also indicate something about the killer's relationship to the property owner.

"I see it as a dumping ground for every thing that reminded the perpetrator about this baby when this baby came in the world," said Marshall.“

Details from toddler's death scene may lead to killer, says panel of investigators

From the link:

Grace pointed out the signifigance of where the child's body was discovered -- on the property of the mother's father, the child's grandfather.

"What unknown perp, some mysterious child abductor in a raincoat and covering his face would take the child and then go circle back to the home and hide the body?" asked Grace rhetorically.

"It limits who your pool of who you think is the killer -- that the body is right there on the family property. And coincidentally, this grandfather is the one... that first reported her missing," she added.

Is this person covering their face, wearing a raincoat, hiding the body true clues about this case?

I never know what to believe from NG!

I think this pretty much says what the GJ is going to see this morning.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says they have identified a person of interest in the death of Evelyn Boswell.

In an interview with News Channel 11’s Kaylyn Kluck on Wednesday, Captain Joey Strickler of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said “a person of interest” is being investigated in relation to the death of Evelyn Boswell.

IMO there will be an an announcement of an arrest in the death of EB. They are pretty confident in an indictment from the GJ.

It will be up to that grand jury – a panel of 13 citizens – to decide if there is probable cause to believe Evelyn was killed and, if so, by whom. If the panel authorizes charges in the case, those presentments would remain sealed until arrests are made.
