Could be based on the condition of each vehicle....one more rusted than the other.

I have been on an aiplane for 3 hours, so I missed the news until now.

I am so upset! On one hand, I really want to know what happened to Gail; but I just do not want to hear the "location of body" news. I know we do not have that yet, just sayin'.

I think about Gail every day. I look at every red Rubicon and think about her more.

What will you think if her body is not in the jeep?

I'm guessing either the other car has been there for a long time and is completely rusted out or something-or perhaps they have a report that a car went down there recently and was never recovered, but the passenger had escaped.

It looks like a pretty rough road to travel right there and I bet going off those roads is more than a little common.

I don't know why, but I'm so sad over this. I guess I was hoping somehow she would be found alive. I'm so sad for her children, her family, her friends. If it truly was an accident, I am embarrassed to say I believed anything but that had happened to her.

if you are familiar with the road in that area, are there guardrails?? Or is it open? Supposing a vehicle went over, wouldn't it have been possible to see the trail one could make breaking through trees that are close together? I mean, shouldn't there have been some evidence of a car going over and down???

There couldn't have been too many leaves on trees at the end of April (???). There aren't here out in the east. Buds are still on branches. On top of a mountain...would they have full foliage at the end of April?
