It appears the murders happened sometime during the middle of the night...I'm not understanding why it was necessary for the kidnapping to kill JB and AB but leave everyone else in the house okay.

DOes anyone know what the lay out of the Bain house is? The bedrooms, where everyone slept? I find it impossible for him to get all four victims out of the house at the same exact time. He would have had to have gone back and forth at least twice...undetected by GB or his daughter and granddaughter.

Any possibility JB or AB woke up when AM tried to leave? And they had to be taken along. Or if his intent was to take them all to demand they give him some type of custody. But, perhaps JB or AB died during transport. If AB is asthmatic it would not be unrealistic if she was bound up...then things got out of control. The murder of JB and AB may have been a spiral out of control thing. And if TM has mental issues, her interpretation of the events could be way skewed...The kidnapping may have been plan B for the custody negotiation. And, if Am really has this fatal heart condition, he does not have the time to go to court, etc. He is going to be very upset about losing the time with the girls when he is "dying"...

I imagine the early part of my timeline, with regard to the Bain family, is flawed. I did the best I could with the information that was available through public documents and newspaper archives. I got a lot of help from people, too, of course.

What strikes me most is that something seems to have happened 2-3 years ago. Around that time, the Bain family was on the move between Tennessee and Arizona, and the Mayes family was on the move between Jackson, Tennessee and Union County, Mississippi. Meanwhile, according to Teresa's mother, she left on a bus bound for her mother's home but somehow returned to live with Adam Mayes.

Whatever happened 2-3 years ago is a huge mystery, but it might have had something to do with the motive in this case. And that motive might be able to tell us where Mayes went.

In terms of where Mayes went, the reality is that he could be anywhere from Disney World to Mexico to three miles from his home. We don't know, and we don't really have any strong clues to point us in the right direction.

But the neighbor that said this did not make it sound like this was AM's intentions for the Viagra. And if AM took Viagra for his heart he would have a script. And if that script ran out the DR will call in a new script or the Pharmacy will give a few pills in life preserving medications. AM wasn't taking Viagra for his heart.

But wouldn't he want any extra because on the run he couldn't fill his script?

For me only, I decided to dismiss anything that a family member has stated with regards to what they claim LE told them.

FBI would not release the cause of death or what happened. PERIOD!

I know that when my nephew was murdered that the family ABSOLUTELY were told the cause of death while the investigation continued into arresting the woman that murdered him..TAKE IT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH BUT THAT'S RIGHT HERE IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE WHERE WE WERE TOLD CAUSE OF DEATH AMONG OTHER VERY SPECIFIC DETAILS.

I was thinking the same thing. This poster seems to speak British English (uses "straight away" for instance) and I would expect AM to speak Deliverance English.

Either way, I'm sure the FBI has his entire web history for the past 10 years, so they'll know if it is him. IMO. Definitely an awesome find.

He could be on disability/SSDI. He could get veteran's benefits. We don't know. Or, they could be a family that has generations of people living on welfare. It would not be unlikely, if TM is on SSDI, for AM and TM to get one heck of a tax refund each year...

They have said that AMs never finished HS and I cant imagine him getting a GED either so I dont think he has ever been in the military or we would have heard about that by now.

It seems he is quite the odd duck. Still living with his mother at his age...doesnt take baths...never worked much if at all.

I shudder to think what these two girls may be enduring.

Authorities from the FBI and state and local agencies said Mayes probably still has the girls and they have continued searching for them around the northern Mississippi town of Guntown, where the bodies of the mother and oldest daughter were discovered.

One U.S. marshal's agent involved with the search, who could not be identified because he is not authorized to speak publicly on the case, said he believes someone is sheltering Mayes.

Bounty hunters experienced in manhunts said it would be difficult for anyone to stay so well hidden without outside aid, particularly in a case where the fugitive's face appears so frequently on cable television and the Internet.

I thought of that possibility too. I wish we could see/read a layout of the house and get an idea where everyone was sleeping. If I remember correctly its a 3 or 4 bedroom and 8 people in the house.

Moo of course but I see no reason whatsoever to discount what the cousin, Mahan has stated about the Bain family being told directly by LE that both Joann and Adrienne were beaten in the garage.. this IMO is just not something that people pull out of their arse and state.. and sadly I believe that we will find this is absolutely accurate.. to each their own on what they would like to believe but I personally see absolutely zilch that this woman has to gain in speaking this detail...she had more than enough to share and speak about her cousin Joann and a possible relationship she had with Adam.. there is absolutely nothingshe would gain from making up the fact that her family members were beaten in the garage..

What has she stated that is so questionable that's lead to several feeling the need to continue to post disclaimers that her statement are likely not factual? ..what is it that she is claiming that has lead to the opinion she has something to gain by making up lies about her family?

Its not the Bain family that deserves disclaimers posted about their statements.. the TM family is the one who has something to gain by spouting untruths.. but I see no reason to continually question the Brains statements as being true or accurate..

Could be I'm missing something huge here but I've yet to see why Joanne's family has a need, desire, or gain from lying about this tragic situation.. jmo

Family is sometimes told the cause of death, even if it is being withheld from the public. Often they are told simply because family is who is going to give the visual id of the remains, and they need to be prepared for what they will see before they give the id. But even if it is withheld from them, whoever id'd her may have seen something like bruising.

OTOH whoever saw them could have seen something that wasn't related to the cause of death. For instance some decomp would have taken place. There would have been some lividity. So whether they saw actual cause of death or not is questionable.

Also family may be inferring. Instead of an actual viewing of remains, they could have been shown clothing or jewelry for the inital id and been told they didn't need to see the remains. Family in their grief could have inferred that LE was telling them they were beaten. And in their grief, they may have later thought that was what LE said to them.

So yes family believes they were beaten. But until the determination is released by the medical examiner, it is still just a guess.

You have a man, woman and baby inside the house that heard absolutely nothing while 4 people were kidnapped, beaten, killed and driven away by at least 2 vehicles.

There is no way someone could get all of this accomplished IMO without waking them up. What are the chances that you could get 4 people to quietly walk out of the house in the middle of the night. At least one of the kids would have been crying or screaming from being awakened and just wanting to go back to sleep. There would be thuds, thumps, bumps from beating them, dragging them, opening and closing of vehicle doors, and cranking of motors. And TM who has been screaming, hollering and fighting with AM over his obsession with the kids assisted in this quietly? Nope can't see this.

This might be possible in a movie or crime novel but these characters, AM and TM, I just can't see it.

I don't believe for a second that Adam M is the father of either of the two girls he kidnapped after murdering their mother and sister with the help of his wife. Nor do I believe he thinks he is.

He was a trusted friend of Gary and Jo Ann's. He was obsessed with the girls. I believe he was grooming them. He didn't want them leaving him.

Asking for Viagra, locking bedroom doors with the girls inside, babysitting the girls, telling neighbors and his wife, that he was their father.

If he isn't a classic pedophile, I'll be stunned.

And where was JB sleeping? If she was sleeping next to GB, like a lot of married couples do, then why and when did she get up and go to the garage?
