Jamaica I feel would be difficult. Outside the tourist areas it would be hard to make a life and feel safe. Love Jamaica but I just don't see this as his destination. I think if they left the USA they are in Mexico and possibly exploring moving forward.

There was enough hints of marriage talk that I do think he is going to try to end up in a place that would offer him a marriage license to her.

I was thinking Las Vegas. Practically everyone has seen TV footage of quick nuptials by couples. I think some places there do it as more of a temporary marriage until paperwork can really be filed.

He may have known it may not even be a "real" marriage but she probably doesnt realize it and maybe that was his plan. Get her to Vegas and make her think a legal marriage happened.

Its either that or like was mentioned to go to a place that could offer a real marriage to a girl her age. Not sure how he was planning the divorce from his wife unless a place like Jamaica really does that sort of thing.

Her favorite color is green that's why family is doing the ribbons in green. It looks like a little green ribbon with a bow around the teddy bears neck. :(

OK, with this latest info the guy is definately sounding like a perv. He has lost any empathy I may have had earlier.She truly is a victim and he truly is a monster.

I did a simple, quick check and two tickets to Jamaica would be about $1400. That would take a big chunk out of what they have (assuming it's near $4500) especially if they've been paying for food, gas and motels. And even if they managed to pay for the tickets there's still TSA to deal with.

I think they're either still in the US and if they want to leave they'll go to Mexico.

I can't believe he wouldn't have realized that using his school email wasn't the most secure way of doing things. If he'd been smart he would have just opened another Gmail account or something, at least it would have taken people a little bit longer to find it if they were unaware of it.

JMHO, but I don't think they are outside of the country, nor wasting money going to exotic locations.

Well finally! I was hoping they would emerge from their denial and do something proactive for a change!

EDIT...Oh wait...these may be the coworkers who suspected he was a sketchy character and not the teacher coworkers. Well back to hoping the teachers wake up and do something similar to help generate leads. Glad the good guys are pitching in.
 
It sounds to me that he really liked playing the drums and I think that was his primary musical instrument he liked.

That is really good news for LE. I suspect he will be looking for someplace or somewhere to bang on a few drums.

Maybe another church he may be looking to join up with.
Lots of modern churches have modern type instruments including electric guitar and drums.

I was kind of shocked at this when I first visited a church that was considered modern to me. They played loud high beat music and had a full ensemble of instruments including a very good drummer. If not listening to the words they sang you would have thought you were at a rock concert.

You can bet LE is holding info under the vest. If they found teen marriage, hidden perverted emails, what cars are hard to trace searches on TC's computer I would think they would find googles searches of places and supplies where they were planning on going? I have a feeling LE and FBI know more then what's being told to the public because if that got on the news the pair would take off to somewhere new, best to not let that out while LE is searching.

Their on the run in hiding, playing loud drums drawing attention to them is the last thing on his mind at this time. IMO
