Have they ever found her?

Not that I know of. I don't have any idea why they would've given Vann a plea deal unless that information was part of it, her location. I speculated earlier upthread that maybe he told LE he tossed her into the lake, but up to this point, they haven't been able to locate her. There's a lot of water around there, along with side creeks and alcoves. It would be almost impossible to search all of it unless it was declared as a year-long project complete with dozens of divers, and even then she might be overlooked.

My guess is that Vann weighted her down really good or encased her in something, so there was no way she would ever float to the surface.

Vann knows exactly where she is, and the D.A. shouldn't have made any plea deals until Vann pointed out exactly where she could be found and was recovered.

Agree completely steelman!

Rhonda Daugherty vanished on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from her home in LaFollette, Tennessee. Her husband, Charles Daugherty, told police that he arrived home that evening to find the back door wide open. All of Rhonda's belongings, including her cell phone, purse, keys and vehicle, were located at the home. The 49-year-old, however, was nowhere to be found. In January of this year, a Campbell County grand jury indicted former Campbell County teacher Lonnie Vann, who reportedly knew the family, with first-degree murder and kidnapping charges in connection with Rhonda's disappearance. Vann plead guilty and was sentenced to 40 years in prison. Rhonda's body has not been found.

Even if he told LE that he through Rhonda in the lake it is 160 feet deep with a constant current. If she is in the lake it will be a miracle that they find her.

Wish he would show Rhonda and the family a little humanity and tell where Rhonda is. :(

This sad case was on "See No Evil" on ID recently. It's pretty obvious Rhonda is in the lake, but officials just can't locate her body. It's really sad.

Such a shame. I was surprised the episode made no mention at all of the allegations against Lonnie that Charles was going to testify about.
