The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an endangered child alert for a missing 5-year-old from Hawkins County.

Summer Wells is 5 years old and not 4 as was previously reported.

Emergency crews are searching for Summer Wells around Ben Hill Road in the Beech Creek community.

Wells was seen walking away from her home on Ben Hill Road around 7 p.m.

She is 4-feet tall, has blonde hair, and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and gray shorts.

Here it is, October and thread #31 and still no clue to what has happened to sweet Summer.
She would have been in Kindergarten for almost 2 months now.

After watching The Behaviour Panel..maybe it was older and there is a newer one..I was intrigued when they thought Don and Candus were telling the truth.

Because Candus was the last adult to be with Summer and if her story is truthful then who could have been hiding and waiting for Summer.

Whoever it was must have been waiting a long time as they were gone a lot of the day. Did someone sit and wait that long just waiting for the chance to take Summer? How could they have know what the plans were for Candus and Summer to go to the town for the day?

Did they walk far away or did they have a vehicle close by to walk to?

If there was someone waiting, I suspect it was someone familiar to the dogs. That doesn’t mean the person is known to the family, but I think he is - not necessarily well, but known to 1+ members of the family. I think the boys have valuable information. JMO.

Exactly that. LE has the cell phone records by now as well as GPS from all phones and the car. They know exactly where everyone was at the crucial times in question. Yet, no one has been called in for another interview. This suggests they found no inconsistencies in the parents' stories.

We have no idea who has been questioned, how many times they were questioned or how recently they have been questioned.

ETA: The last statement from LE was that it was an ongoing investigation. LE has released no details of their investigation.

I have not heard an announcement that the cell phone records or GPS records have been returned to LE.
Maybe they do have them. They don't keep the public updated on anything.

October 15 will be four months since Summer disappeared. I think it's fair to assume that LE has the cell phone and GPS data now.
