But, I seem to remember a detective named Mark Furhman who stated a whole lot of facts in a court hearing. Although I dont believe most LE would deliberately lie in court, clearly there is evidence that they do.

Rozey....statements by a number of people have been changed, retracted, or are in direct conflict with each other. Not enough time to list all, but a few I can remember off hand are Tony, Kiomare, and Tony's assorted room mates various statements that conflict with his and with each other.

Once again, these are STATEMENTS, a part of an investigation. They are not EVIDENCE until they are presented when sworn to in a court of law and the witness has been examined and cross examined IN COURT about his testimony.

You can say and do pretty much anything you want in this country and it doesn't necessarily have to be true. I'm not saying that the sources are incorrect, and I'm not saying that the officers lied. I'm saying that just because they inferred, hinted, or otherwise made it so that the leaks seemed accurate -- that does not mean that they are fact.

Until they are submitted in court, they are not fact (to the public). I've read them all, and I'm leaning one way -- but I'm arguing the other to prove a point. Just 'cause what I think can very well be wrong. This is how we should all be looking at it. None of us is definitively right, because none of us has the 100% cold facts on the case. Seriously, end of discussion.

I wish more people would look at this case like you do!!! You obviously are not afraid to be open-mined and see things from different angles. You are right, none of us have 100% of the facts to make any determination. The evidence we have heard so far is pretty compelling, but it may not be accurate or complete. We may never even know the truth. I hope we do so that everyone can have closure.

Orange County Investigator Yuri Melich's Testimony

Orange County Lead Detective Yuri Melich testified that when searching Casey's car, which is owned by her parents, that he smelled what he described as decomposition. He also testified that strands of hair, which could be Caylee Anthony's hair, as well as dirt and a stain were found in the trunk of the car. The car was sent for forensic testing.

Meilch described Casey as a "person of interest" rather than a suspect in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee. He discussed tips the police had received including a cell phone photo which showed a mark and bruises on Caylee's body and under her eye. A witness he interviewed also mentioned seeing the child with bruises.

When cross examined, he said there was no direct evidence which proved Casey Anthony had anything to do with the disappearance of her daughter.

That's another rumor that has been passed around so much that some people take it as a fact, (a) that Casey has been a "liar" all her life and (b) that this is because the Anthonys never held her accountable. These are parents who possibly were having her pay them rent while she lived there with her baby. There is no evidence that they were too permissive or that they were too easy on her. People are only assuming this could be true, creating a picture in their own mind to explain all the unanswered questions. Just speculation. Actually, habitual lying or compulsive lying sometimes develops in children who grow up with constant fear of punishment, quite the opposite.

Cindy said she lied and stole habitually on her MySpace. Ryan said he's known her all her life, and she's been a liar all her life. She was getting kicked out of the house, because she had stolen from her famaily, including her grandpaents. She cleaned her BFF, Amy's account out, stealing every dime, and even overdrawing it. Cindy has called her a "leech," a "mooch," and a "sociopath." She was not paying her parents rent, but she was lying about going to work every day.

That's why people think KC's always been a liar and thief. Because she HAS been. It's a lifestyle, for her.

Maybe the big bombshell will come in court, when Baez calls a witness and the new family comes to the stand with Caylee in their arms. WooHoo. Then what?

If that were to happen, the entire country ought be rightfully angry that Casey and her family wasted so many valuable precious resources that could have been used to find other missing people. Caylee Anthony, sadly, is not the only child who has gone missing in the USA this year.

You'd have to at least know a little bit about psychology. Not hear it from your psychiatrist, who's made the jump based on the bad things that you've told them -- not an official diagnosis.

She's just an RN, and GA is just a retired who is now a security guard. If she was a doctor, do you think a $50k bail would be a problem for them to come up with? She's guilty of assumptions just like I'm trying to make a point about all of us in this thread.

How do you explain everything that Yuri Melich stated under oath to the Judge at the first bond hearing in this case? Did he lie to the Judge or deliberately mislead him? I would consider the things he said to be FACT as they were submitted in court.

I would agree that anything said in the court of law should be taken as fact; but nothing in our previous arguments were in his statement, IIRC.

Yes, the FBI said the hair has the death band. They also released a picture of what a death band looks like. They also said it came fom Cindy, Casey, or Caylee. because of the maternal DNA present.

This was leaked, no F.B.I. people have released statements regarding this case. Furthermore, the leak said "Casey, Caylee and Lee", Cindy wasn't mentioned IIRC. This is what led to the huge "Lee is her father" crap that went on.
