Today is the day (10/14/08) the Grand Jury Meets!

We don’t know since witness lists are not public before the jury finishes its work. So far we have seen George and two investigators. One reason the media hang outside the door is to see who is called to testify. But the witnesses are not supposed to talk publicly about their testimony until the jury finishes its work and there is a true bill of indictment or no bill."

She should cut Cindy some slack. It has been a difficult search to find a washing machine with a "destroy all evidence" cycle located in between delicates and regular wash.:blowkiss: Sears has not introduced its forensics line of appliances --to date.

Witnesses Arrive
9 a.m. Witnesses began to show up to testify before the Orange County grand jury. The lead detective - Yuri M - was the first to arrive outside the courtroom. State Attorney Lawson Lamar arrived minutes later.

When I served on a GJ we were told the witnesses would be there without having any help in preparing and to be mindful of that.

That is true but if a witness is "Co-operating" with LE then the DA will always go over his Testimony to find out what he knows

In fact I spent 3 hours talking to the DA before I testified & the Lead Detective that was handling the case was also present - He also escorted me to & from the GJ

OK, gotta ask you guys if you're like me and feel a little scared? We've been waiting all this time for this to happen and now I have this sick feeling that they aren't going to give a True Bill. I'm normally an optimist, but from the beginning everything seems to have worked for, rather than against Casey.
1. she managed to go a month before LE found out Caylee was missing.This will end up being her undoing
2. Her lies misled the police and left them with nothing but a cold trail. I don't believe LE see's it that way
3. she didn't "break" in jail and give up the info.I don't think they believed she would.
4. LP got her out thinking she would talk, that backfired and she remained silent.He's foolish to have believed that.
5. Hurricane destroyed potental evidence.We don't know that for sure.
6. they managed to bail her out again and been allowed to spend all days lounging at JB's.We also don't have any idea what she was up to there.
7.TM gave up search.Do we know definitively why that is?
8. Judge rules in favor of her motions.Those motions weren't of any real importance.
Just seems like she's had all the luck from the beginning and it makes me nervous. Also when everyone, like NG, say repeatedly that she is going to be indicted, blah, blah, blah, it's like it goes against the gods to assume this will happen. I'm scared.

I have full confidence she will be indicted on open murder charges.

I'm talking about Local LE - I don't know how the FBI operates but if they are involved in Proscecuting the case then I don't see how it would be any different

If LE is investigating a Case & a witness agrees to Co-operate then LE & the DA will normally sit down with them & tell them what to expect

Why would they call a witness without knowing what he will Testify to?

They know what his written statement says. They know what info they have so why would they NEED to prepare a witness. Doesn't happen that I know of.
