She was nasty and rude to Juan today. I wanted to rip her face off. She must have called 29 sidebars.
Now now... if you were to rip her face off we won't know who she is any more!!

WHOAAA. Great Catch. Definitely pill popping. Wonder if Wilcott gave her something she was not supposed to have.
Now now... if you were to rip her face off we won't know who she is any more!!
Just heard a tidbit from one of the defense attys on HLN:
[paraphrasing]
The reason that they are working so hard to get PTSD in is because of the upcoming DV expert. 'Battered Woman' is NOT a DMSV symptom, but PTSD is. So they need the jury to get onboard with the PTSD diagnosis.
I think they have failed so far.
The fact she may have been wearing a sweater (as well as sweat pants and socks) now during the murder makes it even more likely that she snuck in and he had no idea she was there until seconds before he died.
SHE was the NINJA.
By the time you smelled it, it was probably dead for 2 weeks.
Have no fear about Samuels' testimony, juror questions, or the forthcoming testimony of LaViolette either ... remember that they both met Arias considerably after the murder and Arias is a pathological liar. JM has already proven that Arias lied to Samuels and most likely lied to LaViolette. If I'm on that jury, I've already tossed all of Arias' testimony as garbage and tossed all of Samuels' testimony b/c Arias lied to him. To me, that only leaves the facts of the case and the inferences that can be drawn from them. Guilty of murder one ...
Hi Curious: i am so with you here! I am sick and tired of those who care more about the rights of the defendant than what happened to the victim; our justice system is so skewed in the direction of the defendant that the victim gets lost in the shuffle. Juan Martinez is the passionte and brilliant voice for Travis Alexander- thank you Mr. Martinez for bringing justice back into the courtroom.
The problem for the good doctor is that didn't he supposedly do a lot of work on cases in Arizona, per his run down about his qualifications?
Jumping off your post....I don't know what is going with y'all's ACs because in Texas where it gets to over 100 degrees I am able to get the house cold enough to need to use comforters and wear a sweater. Like into the 60s.
I think this may be the one https://twitter.com/JodiAriasBangs/status/314172529583460352/photo/1
Me too. I agree with you. Watching this trial feels like I'm back in University, where the professor (judge) is teaching the lawyer (supposedly DP qualified lawyer) as to how to pose questions and state objections. Despite respecting "sidebar" distractions to the utmost, my patience is has been duly tested and I would like to see professionalism from both sides at this point.
Wilmott also seems to think that it's ok to laugh, giggle and exchange "secret notes" with her client. Well, she's right - this is within the scope of "legal" but she looks sos stupid. In a million years, I couldn't imagine JM exchanging glances or notes with anyone while in the courtroom.
As to the mitigator "whatever" - she really should stop dressing like a ho and she should downplay her make up a bit. She knows she's being filmed every time she gets her 5 mins of "airtime" all tight and cozy with the "star". It's blatantly obvious every time that she is within camera with the defendant, that she's tooting her own bloody horn. It would serve her much better (and her client) if she would tone it down a bit.

Hey! Mitigator! Hiya! We watch you too!:seeya:
I doubt it. Dead things begin to smell very quickly. The room mates did smell something, but brushed it off as the dog urinating and defacating. The people who found travis, and the police/detective, immediately smelled it as well. It is absolutely distinct and overwhelming. Perhaps their noses began to cancel out the odour, perhaps they just never would have thought "must be a dead body in the house," perhaps they were just typical young men who couldn't be bothered to investigate or call someone about it...
Or, as another poster here termed it: Post-Travis Slaughtering DisorderI just heard Vinnie Politan say it's not PTSD - it's BS...
I'll do him one better and call it PTBS. (the PT standing for Proven Turpitudinous).
She is definitely taking something. The water chaser is a dead give away that she's not popping a Tic Tac. We know that the players in this trial are likely either reading here, or watching the HLN shows who steal the good stuff from the intelligent peeps here anyway, so we know the PT knows what's going on. Will we see a guard taking much more interest in the defendant tomorrow? Let's take a gander at what's changed since we commented on it:
1. Defendant no longer allowed to hide behind her hair curtain;
2. NG stopped wearing the annoying barrette;
3. Nurmi stopped picking his nose on camera;
4. JW and KN stopped dressing alike (didn't like the Tit and Tat reference I guess)
5. Mitigation specialist finally "buttoned up";
Not to mention NG's comments about testimony that day that sound eerily familiar to anyone who reads/posts here. :waitasec:
I would bet the PT is hearing about JA's little antics. I'm also betting someone will be keeping a closer eye on her. :eye:
She may be taking Valtrex for her cold sore.
All I have concluded from Samuels is he based a PTSD dx in large part on the ninja tale, and he was snookered by the defendant.
But I can't figure out why the jury should care if she had PTSD. I don't believe it, but even if she did, WTH does it matter?
I didn't watch much of it today, but did catch that her score didn't even reach the PTSD threshold, although she did score high on anxiety. Too bad so sad.
Of ourse she was anxious. Not because she murdered Travis, but because she was locked up in jail on a first degree murder charge. No.freedom.
This trial has turned into a charade. I've never seen anything like it. This liar has created so much chaos and is causing a "huge waste" of resources.
Just relaying this from the KatieCoolady thread:
The tie Travis's brother is wearing in the photo in the above link is from the anonymous Websleuther that gave sent them gifts. <3 Nice!
On 2nd thought we will know who she is.............
