How does anyone know what JA was holding in her hands in that photo, besides Travis Aleaxander and the killer???????????

Forgive one more speculation. Difficult to think anyone would be so dispicable, but because there seemed little purpose/value to be gained from this morning's photo testimony, it almost seems as if Jodi & Co were mostly interested in torturing Travis' family by getting them to sit for hours in the dark, with nothing to look at except larger than life images of Travis' final moments.

Even to the point of showing them the last thing Travis ever saw.

It would take a lot of kicks to get the camera where it ended up. Recall that Jodi said the camera rolled toward the bathtub. Now recall the layout of the bathroom. A straight kick would send the camera toward the closet door, not the hallway.

I think it happened when they were struggling in the hallway. She may have inadvertently kicked it with her foot even more than once and that is why it wound up down the hallway.

IMO

I saw a penguin in the reflection in Travis' eye.

He was in a hurry too wasn't he!?

****. Just heard on HLN it's being reported that one of the dead is a 8 year old child.

I can't bring myself to thank this post. My family was in the OK bombing. This is bringing back some horrible memories. Such a sad day.

Sorry for the O/T mods.

Wait ... Are you saying you actually believe that 2 ski mask sporting intruders were there acting in concert with Jodi? ... and that she has been protecting them?

Kensie ... DRINK!!!

I'm saying I think Jodi might have been one of the 'intruders'. The female one. I believe she had help.
Like say...............Matt!?

We will it will probably be after the trial though. And it's not sealed to protect ALV's rep it must have something to do with the trial and JA specifically.

Are we certain that ALV was in court today? I didn't read any Wild About Trial's tweets or anything confirming her presence.

Anybody know for sure?

I think the stipulation was a good idea for JM. The jury will not get to see the blown-up eyeball picture at all. So all they know is that everyone agrees there was no gun or knife IN HER HAND at the second she took the photo of Travis's face.

So the jury will say, "OK, that makes sense, I mean she was probably holding the camera with both hands. But now let's look at the NEXT photo, where he's awkwardly scrunched up at the bottom of the shower and his head isn't in the photo. Now in THAT photo I bet she DID have a gun or knife in her hand and that's why this photo looks so accidental and why he's in a position indicating he's shrinking away from a weapon. And obviously the prosecutor believes that's when the gun or knife appeared or why would he only stipulate she didn't have a gun or knife for the PREVIOUS picture...."

In other words, I think the jury will interpret this as the defense trying to get Juan to agree that she had no gun or knife while taking the photos and him saying, "Oh no. I will only agree she didn't have it IN HER HAND until after she took the face photo and before she took the scrunched-up-in-the-bottom-of-the-shower photo."

BBM: Respectfully, IMO the "camera rolled toward the bathtub" statement is pure fiction, along with "he charged me like a linebacker" etc. etc. etc.

Ok, I will just pray that from here on out JM drives home pre-meditation, and leaves no doubt for any of the jury!!!

On another note.. I am watching testimony I missed, and Det. Mendes is adorable, and his voice!!!!!

Imo, he has already proved pre-med in his CIC but he will do a refresher course now and bring the case back in focus.

Rebuttal will be the icing on the cake.

IMO

Given the fact she admitted killing TA, given the fact that she slit his throat. There is no reason to worry for one minute about the stipulation.

Today was just a demonstration of the Defense using their oars while their ship is sinking.

Their engine has blown a gasket.

Is the blown-up photo of Travis' eye in evidence and shown to the jury?

NO. That was what the stipulation that was agreed to by both sides. In other words, the jury has NO idea about the Eye Guy and the BS. I'm sure those jurors just sit there and wonder what Twilight Zone episode they'll be in tomorrow. Oy to the Vey!

I ssssssooooooooooooooooooooo agree!!!!!!

Then I'd expect to see some kind of physical damage to the camera. I have a bridge camera, they're not exactly tanks. The computer guy Melendez testified to finding no damage on the camera except for the shutter button that fell off during his handling of it, and as we can see from the last three pictures, the camera was in working condition when it found its way down the hallway.

I can't understand why the judge wouldn't stipulate that the defense can put up the photo BUT without the ridiculous outline figure......let the jury see if they can make it out, why does it need to be pointed out to them?

I think it's because it is not clearly defined. If she lets it in it will set a precedence and it's really not defined because the expert said you can't tell who it is. We know it's Jodi but if your really can't identify her you probably can't identify what she could be holding besides the camera. He said the white parts are reflective, such as face but something in her right hand appears to also be reflecting light so defense could be in big trouble with that one should JM bring it up.

The crime scene evidence shows only one person--one footprint in blood, one palm print in blood, one girl and 3 gas cans, there was no sign of anyone else there, period.

Matt or Searcy may have helped Jodi out after the fact, IMOO.

Jodi may not have dropped the camera at all, she may have thrown it toward the hall so she could get to the knife she had on her person.
