It's interesting how disengaged Jodi is trying to appear.

It's funny, because it's not working . . . Jodi wants to look smart by writing incessantly, when in fact she is probably writing a hundred times "I am so much smarter than this witness, I am so much smarter than this witness ..."

I agree with others who say Jodi is probably very jealous of this witness.

She is trying so hard to look like she doesn't care, but we know better :floorlaugh:

There is finally something in the courtroom that has been missing the last few months.... common sense!

Jodi is totally ignoring this witness. I love the witness, she know what she is talking about

As someone who has an MA in Forensic Psychology and who is starting her Clinical PhD this Fall - I am so thankful for this expert witness who is acting/ has acted in the PROPER way as a expert witness.

I was extremely disheartened by the DT witnesses and worried how awfully my profession was being portrayed to the world.

Thank GOODNESS for this!

Same here, I know sounds a little unusual but I began to cry with Dr. DeMarte's testimony. I was both dejected and upset during ALV's testimony because I love this field and what ALV did was set us back decades by her testimony. Dr. DeMarte will get a thank you note from me for this PROFESSIONAL testimony.

What is the murderer working so hard on over there? Do they assign homework in jail? I wish they'd move that monitor!

Ok does any one not see the similarity in the hair of the DR. and jodi?

Started off with a bit of nervousness (speaking too fast, answers a little unfocused and trailing off) but seems to have shaken that off. Now she's slowed down and getting serious about how inappropriate the defense experts behavior has been.

I don't know if anyone else noticed that Samuels said in his deposition that he went back to see Jodi afterward because he was told that she was depressed. I hope that comes up because he claimed that he never crossed the line between evaluator and therapist.

This is facinating testimony. Very well presented-factual and no cute antecdotes thrown out to muddy the water.

Jodi looking down and trying to appear occupied with drawing/reading. She does not like what this witness is saying.

LAV can administer tests but can't give a diagnosis!

Wow!

She was duly unqualified!

Is there any need for forensic interviewer to go back?
if I had received new data and I was uncertain about opinion
no ethical reasons I can think of

ever provide gifts for person you evaluate??
no that is inappropriate - independent evaluator - multiple roles in evalution . . . .

Dr. Samuels gave book Your Erroneous Zones . . .
she is not familiar with it - she has never provided self-help book - concerned about multiple role confusion . . ..if they read the book that could potentially learn something or act certain way. skew actual objective results of the testing you want as part of the eval.

JA's psych hix, social hx, educational hx, sexual experience history, . . . .conducting testing . . .written communication or records - another piece of data - another objective viewpoint.

can people who work with you give tests to others?
very limited what they can do.. psychometrist can give the test but not able to determine the results.

is the Dr. Samuels report the only other report you had
no- I had
objection - approach

So Samuela and LVA weren't even allowed to interpret the results of the tests??
