Does anyone else get the sense that JW is not much more mature than JA, or is JW somehow trying to channel JA in her demeanor?

The tone of Willmott's cross is not helping the defense at all. She has not made one single point yet!

She's disorganized, misinformed, confused and manic. I can only imagine it is from sheer desperation. Things tend to get really ugly when it gets desperate.

just re-watched that last sidebar - it's possible JW was really upset because she just heard herself ask Dr DeMarte why she didn't get further information from Travis about what he'd meant. Even though he's 'no longer alive'.

I think that was a humiliating moment, and one she won't forget for quite a while. Pretty sure there may be others that wont let her forget it either.

Wilmott is beyond frustrated that she's getting no where here. This is an expert witness.

I think Dr Drew summarized this best last night. He said that yes, the prosecutor would like a more seasoned/ages expert witness, but on the flip side its often the young eager hungry professionals who come out of the gate who are "lock, stock & two smoking barrels" - meaning she is prepared to the gills, loaded and ready to shoot with precision. She's not old and tired, been there done that - she's eager to catapult her career, and that doesn't happen unless you're at the top of your game.

I am going back a listening to Juan from Day 1 just to get a break from Wilmott's voice and mannerisms.

I sure hope she wraps up soon.

If you start now, you could get through the State's entire case-in-chief in the time it'll take Willmott to conduct this cross--especially if you watch the version without sidebars.

Not an attorney but I used to work for one and I would say yes.
