I just looked at the HLN TV re-enactment of the shelf incident, with a 215 pound guy stepping on it and it does not tip. But it looked to me like it was not the same type of shelving. There did not seem to be peg holes on the sides. If so, how could HLN mess up so badly?

Did he let her in thinking she was paying him for the car? Remember she inquired to Det. Flores if that check would be cashed? Is that why she showed up there? Also, one would NOT show up at 4 in the morning to do that either, that's why I don't think she stayed all night there. IMO

I think the same. Imo the txt on 5/26 was about her threatening (again) to tell church/PPL about him/them. This was HER response to that txt.

Morning everyone!

Have been catching up, watching yesterday's testimony. I agree that the juror questions of Det Flores were very good. I think the jury is really thinking here. They have any doubts they are looking for the witness to clarify. I will say the one question (paraphrasing here) regarding JA's height etc in the closet threw me a little. She testified that she had to put her foot on the shelf to reach the gun. There are no variables there, so I wonder if someone is trying to give JA a free pass in the 'fog'. Basically thinking she is not telling the truth because she can't remember the truth. Regardless, that was the only question that seemed a little off. The rest spot on. I am hoping once I catch up on the thread someone will have posted their thoughts on what the 'positive' take on that question was.

I was hoping court on Tues because I have the day off, but sadly once again I will miss most of next week. But, I am hopefuly that the judge will allow the jury to deliberate immediately after they have been charged with doing so. I would hate to think they get the case fri afternoon and then have to wait until Monday. IMHO it just doesn't sound right. Inviting trouble on that I would think.

Anyway, I too was hoping to hear from Chase fraud manager. I have wondered if the card belonged to TA and she used it after the fact. I don't know how to verbalize what I am thinking, but her family, inner circle, don't seem to be the type to have a lot of credit cards or anything. They seem to be making ends meet from month to month. Not that they didn't have some but it doesn't seem like it imho. For all we know that is how JA rented the uhaul and everything else to leave, with his card.

Anyway, I also hope to not hear there is a chance for the DT to have their surrebuttal witness come forward and testify. Not because it means anything in my mind, but really just delaying the trial another day. He was sanctioned by another court for being a hired gun, I can't imagine that the DT would put their eggs in that basket.

IMHO, just my two cents and all that! Thanks for all that you guys do for those of us watching in bits and pieces.

I'm hoping that if this person for the defense is the reason for JSS's statements about Wednesday, then the judge has given strict instructions as to what can and cannot be asked of him. Remember, if they really do have another witness testifying, the DT has to do their questioning, then the State asks questions, then the DT asks more questions. We all know the DT cannot question one of their own witnesses in less than like a week, so I believe the judge must have given strict instructions on this questioning, otherwise there's no way everyone would be able to get their questions in.

Also, I just don't understand what this new witness could possibly say. I don't think that he's ever even spoken to JA and if he bases his testimony on what she already testified to, everyone knows she's been proven to be a total liar over and over again. I just don't think it's going to help at all, it's just going to make them look very desperate and like the DT hired someone to give an opinion for money.

I have been thinking...maybe a bad thing. LOL I can't see how the sur rebuttal will help the DF. It does not matter whether JA has ptsd or bpd. Premeditation has been proven. She killed a man in cold blood. Knew exactly what she was doing and remembers everything IMO. The jury has to see this. These disorders don't mean a thing, to me. Bringing on a new doctor to spout more psycho garbage won't help. It only show more desperation from the DF. JMO

I don't think there is a surrebuttal. I think that if the defense lined up their witness ASAP to get him on the stand and that he is available now... for this..

I think that it may be someone for Juan that has the issue. I think the jury is excited to finally get close to deliberation. They seem smart and attentive.

My heart was broken for JA's grandmother yesterday. I can not imagine how she is feeling. I bet she was upset hearing that Jodi's story was all lies. That she knows this girl is not right and guilty of the murder.. Not self defense but murder...

I can not believe they would drag that poor woman into court.

They are desperate to distract.

At approx 1:30, JM is asking JA about someone taking her to Redding to rent that Ford she used to go to Mesa to slaughter TA.

JM says "it was a guy that took you right" (MM?????)

JA responds she thinks it was her sister-in-law. <---who???

I was in and out yesterday, and suffering a time out punishment, but I rewatched testimony early today and when the hair photos came in and ja started her manic scribbling, I pictured her writing, "I should have gone with the clown wig", and when Det. Flores was on the stand I swear I heard Law & Order music in my head!!!!

Don't know who is up Steely. HHJSS said for next Wed to the jury 'Be prepared to stay well past 5.

I didn't watch NG last night, but from what I am hearing about the pregnancy issue.....it is all BS...IMO If this really happened it would have screamed out loud from the DT in this case.....it is all BS

Also, did you see her grandmother's face when she was looking up and rubbing her face? With the gun testimony yesterday she probably knew Jodi stole their gun. It was a look of sorrow and resolution.

I understand what you are saying. I somewhat agree. I feel bad for her. Can you imagine how she must feel knowing that her gun was involved with this? :notgood: Poor woman.

Sometimes when these crazy "reports" come out I can't help but think JA leaks ridiculous items just to see how upset and inflamed she can get everyone. She is a manipulator and probably gets a perverse pleasure knowing these little spiteful tidbits get back to the family. I have also wondered if she throws them out there to see if any juror member references something that could give JA grounds for appeal. I believe the jury is not purposely looking at news/media reports but maybe Einstein is hoping the more outrageous things may inadvertently be seen by one or more of them. Just has always made me nervous when everyone discusses these Looney tunes stories.

IIRC, she said to her sister that she was going to be famous or something to that effect, infamous would be the correct word. At any rate, the narcissism/psychopath in her, does not allow for her to simply become a vague memory and forgotten, hence, she continues to spin, concoct and spew all this nonsense because she knows all too well her 15 minutes are almost up.

Hopefully, she will be on death row really soon, where she will grow older/uglier and will never hurt another person again. Maybe, she will do us all a favor and off herself, save the state some money, I know, I know, wishful thinking.

Oh well, to the likes of this ogre, I say, good riddance!
