I would like to know if anyone here would shoot to kill because they heard a disturbance coming from a room? Not an obvious disturbance like the sound of someone crashing to the floor after a failed attempt to exit a window but rather a gentle sound of wood scraping?

Is that even remotely possible out side of Oscar world? This IMO is where his version breaks down completey

I'm sure I wouldn't, although it's quite easy for me to say that when :-

I don't live in a country that has over 3.7 million registered firearms, and probably another 4 million unregistered. There are almost 13 guns for every 100 people.

I don't live in a country where the majority of emigrants leave because of crime, and where you are 4 and a half times more likely to be murdered than the global average.

I also don't live in a country where in over 99% of home robberies the intruder is armed.

SA is a beautiful country, but the perception of self-preservation and need for security appears to be far greater than anything I've ever experienced.

But you're in the "not guilty" camp, correct?

After reading several of your posts defending him and then this most recent one regarding his upbringing and disability, I took it as your position of further defense. If I misinterpreted it, I apologize.

You misinterpreted. I'm in the "not guilty of premeditated murder" camp because of lack of proof. I think he's probably guilty of culpable homicide.

Dixon discussed the WC light in yesterday's testimony:

"I performed a scientific test using an instrument known in forensic geology as a 'finger'. I used this finger to press the light switch which then confirmed to me, to the best of my knowledge, that the light was not working milady.
I then used additional instruments called eyes to confirm the above and then allowed my brain and physical existence to bring all the evidence together milady.
I then made some notes on a napkin to accurately record all these findings.
No I did not check if there had been any previous fault reported to confirm the employer's, sorry i meant the accused's story milady.. quite honestly I couldn't be bothered milady.
I also did not check that the bulb had been accidentally smashed by a cricket bat.
I did not do this because I was satisfied that my initial test was sufficient to reach the conclusion I had been asked to reach.
I also could not do this milady because by then it was nighttime and it was dark and the lights weren't working for some reason... and so I tried to use both my eyes and my finger to make my notes but then I didn't have a pen because it was stuck up my arse milady.
No its true that I am not a qualified electrician milady but I once changed the batteries in my portable gas spectrometer so I am an expert to the very best of my recollection, but I don't actually know how the thing works milady. I think you blow through it or sing it a song. One of the three.
No there is no report milady, because the dog ate it on the way here"

This must have been when the feed went down.

Thank you, I now have people turning to look at me strangely on the bus for trying to suppress my giggles and snorting :/

(Not this case, but I thought it was interesting. The man finally admitted what he did and said he was scared to do so before.)

Yes, that certainly cemented his guilt for me, I've heard that phrase before and it never ends well.

OP prob said same or similar words when he threw out Melissa Rom and Cassidy T-M and later slammed the door on CTM injuring her leg [in 2009]..
In Vogue, atty for CTM said OP was drunk. Wish I knew how long alcohol (but he prob reacts to many things) takes to clear, as so far we know OP had zero level when tested for alcohol and and drugs, approx 12-17 hours after dinner.

The interesting thing IMO is that arguement for an hour almost certainly IMO included his preventing her from leaving.

But after taking refuge in the loo, he then did 180 and wanted her to leave.
Obviously to me, he got the phone out of her hand with either asasult or threat. JMO with vastly more

As avid true crime followers we have read of many cases, on this board, where a deceased victim was found wrapped in a blanket, shower curtain, or afghan. I wondered if OP contemplated wrapping RS in the blanket to take her out of his home. Perhaps the call from security made him nix that idea. It might explain his changing story.

I've definitely contemplated what type of cover-up he may have been thinking about. He didn't have a lot of time. I don't necessarily think he was going to hide her body. I tend to think he wanted to hide some evidence, and very well may have done that. We know his peeps stole the phone and that Carl & Oldwage took items from the safe. As to what else he needed to hide, we'll probably never know.

The plastic bags are very disturbing to me. I can't for the life of me understand why he and Clarice would be using plastic bags on a bleeding wound when they had towels and clothing right there to use.

And then Roux asks him in direct examination about rope and tape?? Oscar testifies that Clarice asked for it to stop the bleeding on Reeva's arm. Of course, he can't possibly remember who may have fetched all of these items in the cupboard.

Those items are all very suspicious to me.

I hypothesized that here some 2 weeks ago.

It was countered by some who said there was only a few drops of blood on duvet.

I them countered that by saying her heart, if still beating was doing so poorly as was only was few more seconds, acc. to Dr.Perumal state she died (at the toip of the stairs.

in this hypothesis, hero Dr. Stip and Mr. Baba may ahve thwarted OP's paln by seconds or minutes.

Good morning!

Looking forward to more of our expert with his nicely typed up notes today ;)

I was thinking

Even if we were to believe Oscar that he thought there was an intruder (which I don't). Regardless, what did he think would happen when he fired 4 shots into a tiny toilet? Still I can't see him getting out of this. Although I do think he knew it was Reeva. I wouldn't lock a toilet door with just myself and husband in the room. She did, and in the dark, if we are to believe the toilet light was not working at that particular moment. Doesn't make sense.... The poor girl must have been petrified...

However the appearance of the psychologist during the trial makes me think that no matter what the sentence will be, he will not spend an hour in jail due to his 'mental state'. I think he's got all his bases covered?
