Thanks for finding that. I wonder if there will be more revelations about inappropriate pre-trial behaviour leaking out...seems like his social circles don't want to shield him as they used too. How about that self-reported agoraphobia, no alcohol abuse and social phobia finding...phffttt. No one put these party accounts into Scholtz's psychologist report

What a pathetic, pathetic man. Sounds like his friends are tired of being chumped by him. The family so far has too much pride to admit it, but just wow; you could not make this stuff up. The entire story of his life sounds like a wildly imagined novel that could never be true. A man is destroying himself and his family in front of the world's eyes and Reeva's family witnesses her life in context of a Greek tragedy.

Bit lazy not going through all her testimony myself but did Nel ever ask Samantha Taylor if OP alway put his shirt on his legs as he testified to always doing? or if he always aired them out next to the balcony?

Also, I just found the nuggest where Van Staden tells the court OP lied about washing his hands. The evidence of his dodgy behaviour is becoming mountainous!

Sam Taylor said that OP always put his prosthetics on the floor next to him… and that makes sense… especially since OP stated that walking on stumps was difficult and painful.

Sam Taylor said she never saw OP ventilate his prosthetics with a fan… and that makes sense… the prosthetics are made of plastic, they do not absorb sweat… the stump-socks absorb the sweat but they are not part of the prosthetics… they can be changed/washed just as regular socks can.

I don't need to idealise a victim but there is a tired familiarity to this debate about women who "play with fire", are critiqued as "shallow" or seen by others to sell themselves short and make unintelligent choices as a their precursor to death - people said similar things of Nicole Simpson (and Ronald Goldman), Simon Gittany's victim Lisa Harnum, even of Allison Baden-Clay and the recent long recent list of girlfriends shot dead by their teen boyfriends...

Irregardless on judgements about the modelling industry or reality shows, or the lifestyle choices of each victim, it's Pistorius that shot four times at a toilet door.

Reeva was murdered and if how she was supporting herself is not up to ones expectations I'd like to say...but it is not allowed. While off stage/opps the stand and throwing up in a bucket her killer is just fine now and out partying.

Wednesday (7/16) my neighbors house was hit by lightning, it is a total loss along with their two 4 legged babbies I tried to save. First day I got out of bed and thought I'd check for new news here. A persons post was upsetting to me, how a seemly intelligent person be so unkind and pompous?

As I have stated previously, people that have interesting stories about OP will come out of the woodwork now that the Trial is over… even more so after the verdict and so much more so when OP is imprisoned.

Oscar Mystery #9,675 - Fact: OP wears glasses (one must assume he wears contacts when he’s without glasses). Fact: Police crime scene photos show OP 1) standing in the garage and 2) being taken away to the police station. In NO photos is he shown wearing glasses. WHY?

Only two explanations are possible.

#1 He didn’t bother putting on his glasses to see the “intruder” before he shot four bullets through the closed door. (Wouldn’t one logically first put on their glasses to clearly confront danger, especially when handling a gun, especially on stumps? This guy thought it was smart to go into “battle” with TWO self-inflicted disadvantages - although a 9mm is a great equalizer.)
#2 He was wearing his contacts. WHY?

Only two explanations are possible.

#1 He somehow found time to stop and put on his contacts - all while trying to “find” Reeva, bash down the toilet door, put on his legs, pull Reeva from the toilet, cry over Reeva for X minutes, scream on the balcony, use the phone multiple times, go downstairs to open the door and back up again, carry Reeva downstairs, retrieve tape and plastic bags, try to “save” Reeva, retrieve Reeva’s handbag and puke multiple times in the kitchen. (Could you put in contacts with shaky, bloody hands?)
#2 He was wearing his contacts the ENTIRE time - he never removed them. WHY was he wearing contacts @ 3:15am if, as he claimed, he went to sleep at 10pm?

Only one explanation is possible.

OP is a 100% liar. His entire story is false. They never went to sleep at 10pm but were both awake from 6pm up till the shooting (it doesn’t help OP’s case that he’s a self-admitted insomniac - see @oscarpistorius).

A simple case of absent glasses helps explain at least two crucial things: Food in Reeva’s stomach from a 1am meal is absolutely not only possible but probable and Mrs. Van der Merwe hearing intermittent arguing between 1:56am and about 3am is validated.

It appears you may not have heard of "Continuous Use" and "Extended Use" contact lenses which you go to bed and sleep with and which many use today since they are much less hassle. Some types can even be left in for 30 days and nights at a time so if OP used these which IMO is likely since IIRC there were no spectacles by his bedside table, then zilch could be proved by him either not taking his contact lenses out to go to bed or for not putting his contact lenses in to shoot since if he was using contacts of either the continuous or extended type he wouldn't need to remove or put them in either.

There is one other possibility but we shall never know if it applies to him - there are now contact lenses that can be worn overnight.

My thoughts are it's pretty safe to say that either OP uses extended or continuous use contacts which he slept in or he has a very slight visual impairment. And the logic is simple, because had OP not had his contact lenses and was significantly short or long sighted, or astigmatic, then he would have most certainly used his visual impediment to demonstrate further vulnerability, i.e. double amputee and visually impaired. And if questioned why he didn't then put on his prescription specs before going down the passage he could convincingly claim he'd left his specs in the sitting room, kitchen, etc. or even misplaced them in the bedroom, as many, myself included, do only too often... and there is nothing worse than looking for your glasses without glasses! And, further, if OP's visual impairment is minor, say 1 dioptric short or long, or a small degree of astigmatism, it would mean he may well manage most household activities without having to use glasses or contacts at all.

So the fact OP said zilch about his feeling even more vulnerable without his corrective lenses or contacts on, imo demonstrates he either had extended or continuous use contact lenses or or he has only a slight visual impairment and can manage without specs or contacts a lot of the time especially when in familiar surroundings. JMHO.

Thanks for this post. Awe he was lonely, so he went to a bar! He should of gone to Reeva's grave she is not only lonely but cold...very cold. What unbelievable arrogance and an embarrassment for the fans he use to have and their country.

Society helps create such monsters. Actions AFTER a murder / during a trial are just as critical and damning as actions before. This boy seems in melt down mode. Reading between the lines he is not listening to advice from his family. This confirms his arrogance IMO. I feel quite irritated that he professes to do little except read the bible and think of Reeva. WHAT A LIAR! I cannot believe his family do not realise the truth behind his story. I just hope the "powers that be" know of all this.

I understand the Westkoppies examination was solely to find whether or not he had GAD at the time of the shooting. They concluded that he did not. Anything else was not really relevant.

I thought the whole idea of bringing in a cell phone expert was to retrieve deleted messages! ??The above is giving me a bad feeling. Is it possible that RS was saving all communications between her and OP? Can anybody tell me about how many messages you can save on your I-phone?ETA: grrh... my message here was divided up into paragraphs, but am unable to make them show up!

Yes, I understand, but I am hoping that the judge and assessors are at least aware of what his disposition is. I suppose they did get to hear a little from two of the witnesses. They certainly would know more if he had hit the courts at any time but he seems to have a fairly protective team around him which somehow seems to prevent him ever being arrested. Smacks again of 'it's who you know and not what you know'. I wonder if he realises how lucky he has been over the years.

Naturally the Pistorius clan have realized the Truth about how Oscar Pistorius murdered Reeva… they are NOT mentally challenged.

They prefer an ongoing moral struggle than to see OP go to prison for life.

Also, there is a selfish psychological reason behind doing everything in their power to help OP… if OP is sent to prison, they won't be able to convince themselves that they are somehow to blame.

Depends on how full Reeva's phone was… when one erases a message, the space occupied in the memory by the message is not wiped, it is only marked as being available… so that designated space in memory will only be written upon when space is required.
