I can only imagine what this time of year does to the Elvis family. I agree that someone in the Caison/Moorer family could end their pain of not knowing what happened and where Heather is. It won't be TM or SM but one of them knows.

I really thought that Tammy would have made a deal and revealed where Heather's body was disposed of as soon as she found out that she was going to be in prison for a very long time. But, she didn't. I'm still surprised about that.

Family, friends hold vigil on 11th anniversary of Heather Elvis’ disappearance

Exactly 11 years ago, a 20-year-old disappeared in one of Horry County’s most notorious missing persons cases.

Elvis’ family holds a vigil for her every year on Dec. 18 at that landing. This year’s vigil begins at 5 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who has kept the search for Heather and the search for answers alive throughout the years of pain and anguish. A special thank you to all who still support and attend the vigils that are held not only on December 18th but on the 18th of every month. Decembers vigil and a birthday vigil held on Heathers birthday each year (June 30th ) are larger gatherings for all the missing and those who have lost family and or loved ones and friends. I am so very grateful for every person who attends, while some months there are larger numbers of people who come, there are months where it’s not always easy for everyone who cares and supports our family to attend due to work or vacations or their own family gatherings. Though you may not be there at every vigil, your prayers are always felt and appreciated more than can be expressed with words. So please know that you are always welcome to gather with us and share your thoughts and prayers or just sit and talk, you will never be out of place when you come and feel free to share you own losses and light a candle in there memory and their honor.
It has been a long long road we are traveling on and the journey towards some type of closure continues for the truth is still an unknown but there can be no real peace in our lives without answers.
While I don’t often post here, I do more often than not come here to read your posts and to remember that there are so many people that have not forgotten about Heather, it does help to continue forward knowing that we are not alone.
With the deepest gratitude and love, I thank you for the kindness shown unfailingly throughout this journey and I hope and pray the answers come and we can rest knowing Heather has been found.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, honestly, we have not “celebrated “ Christmas the way we once did before all of this, the holidays are brutally hard as are Fathers Day, Mothers Day and any of our Birthdays especially June 30th which is Heather’s birthday.

My thoughts are with the Elvis family, it doesn’t seem possible that 11 years have passed since Heather was murdered.

After the video of the truck cleaning party was shown. I’m convinced her sister has to know what happened to Heather.

As am I, we have begged the solicitors office to go after the sister for lying on the stand not once but twice and for her part in the footage that was shown in court, everyone seems to agree that she was complicit and should be charged with conspiracy the same as the other two, even if not put before a grand jury, I personally think she would talk rather than possibly face a jury. I agree and don't understand why they wouldn't consider that option? How about her boyfriend who was also present? Did they work in silence with no mention of why there was such an intense cleaning party and the rags used were burned? Not everyone burns items used to clean a vehicle ...

Also feel Tammy's Father came to her aid in hiding Heather's body. But that secret unfortunately went with him to the grave.

I have little doubt that the sister knows what happened and at this point the two oldest kids may as well, imo. I would love to know how SM and TM are doing while incarcerated. I so wish SC had the Sunshine law that Florida has so we could know more.
This time of year brings back a floodgate of memories. Can't believe how time has passed and still some of the same questions remained unanswered.

Has anyone watched the documentary on PRIME that Heather's family participated in? I've almost finished it. My takeaways are that the actor they used to portray Ole Tam Tam is 1000% improvement over the real thing and the one playing Sidney is eerily similar to him!

polly was selling items on FB for Myrtle beach just a week ago. And i saw that the daughter was living in another state with a bf. Don't think i've seen anything on the boys in quite a while

I’m on the 2nd part now. But yes, the Tammy actress needed about 50 lbs. The Sydney guy did look a lot like him and the Heather was not as pretty.
So far, very interesting. I came late to this case and didn’t know a lot about the cyber bullying/harassment that went on. The (fake)Moorers sitting around in their sinister hoodies doing sinister FB made me laugh—the way the filmmakers portrayed it, not the actual meanness. I really feel for the Elvis family.
(I don’t know if this was free on a Prime regular acct. My daughter has a student account and they wanted $7 to watch. YouTube had a $5 option so I did that.)

They stalked the searchers, threatened them, made up false sightings of Heather, etc...I could go on and on. I will never forget it and many of us on this thread are locals. Not only did they terrorize Heather and her family they did it to the entire community. It wasn't enough what they did to Heather, they were furious that the community supported the Elvis family and LE. What we we saw in this series was just a small amount of harassment and pain they have caused.

I am tossed. At times I think that they know where she is and there are times I think that they don't know because her father took care of it for Tammy. I do believe they know exactly what happened to her though. The photo that Sidney showed the cousin was proof that their problem was taken care of, imo. Sidney's sudden freedom was a great point for the solicitor to make. Heather's activity ends and moments later a once handcuffed Sidney has is phone and freedom back.
I would love for her family to lay her to rest too.
