Another timeline for the demolition was given here:

When asked whether they’ve spoken to the victims’ families, the new owners told The Independent: “Right now we are in the planning stages. The house and outbuildings will be removed around the first of October with everything hauled off the property.”
After that is finished, the owners said that they plan to talk things over with the victims’ families before moving forward, and said they have already been in touch with some of them.

Here's some pics from Nate Eaton's X of them bulldozing the Daybell house.

Live - the demolition taking place today:
Thank you for posting these. I watched everything. It was sorrowful but somehow satisfying, too. I feel sorry for the family that lived there before the Daybells moved in. They said it had been a very happy home.
I’m interested in hearing what the “new” detective has to say about Lori Vallow’s financial stuff; it’s new and dishy info, according to Nate.

Ridiculous to take down a tree, in my opinion.
Normally, I would agree with you (except in the case of non-native invasives). This tree (or bush or whatever) stood as a distressing reminder to JJ’s family of where and how he was buried, and of the horrifying death he suffered. If they say it should go, I’m not arguing.
