A 22-year-old woman has been charged with capital murder in the death of her 5-month-old daughter.
Police say Tradezsha Bibbs told them that around 1:30 p.m. on April 14 she went to her grandmother's house to drop off groceries. She said her daughter, Brielle Robinson, fell from her car seat onto the concrete. Bibbs also said her grandmother advised her to take the child to the hospital, but since Bibbs had an open Child Protective Services investigation, she decided not to do so.

According to court documents, Bibbs later admitted her story was not true. (...) Bibbs said when the child began to cry, she would pick her up by the arms and drop her on the bed, causing the child to bounce off the mattress and fall to the floor. She said she did this 2 to 3 times.
Court documents say Bibbs admitted to hitting the child in the face and legs, punching her in the ribs and "popping" her in the chest until she stopped crying.
The autopsy revealed Brielle died of multiple blunt-force trauma to the head and body.
