Life in prison!!!!

It's never enough, in a case like this. But thank God that the legal system provided all the justice it could dispense here. I feel something between a sense of satisfaction and relief - and yet still saddened, because nothing can make up for the loss of Christina.

Hard-time prison is ahead for EA, not a cushy jail cell near home. I have heard that those who assault women don't do well in hard-time prison, because the other inmates have wives and kids and sisters. Given EA's ongoing attitude and refusal to help ease the family's pain in any way, I gotta admit I would be pleased if that proves true.

I noticed the same thing. LPP was a real disappointment in this trial coverage, as he proved to be incredibly mediocre in getting the facts right - which is the most important job of a reporter. And his hints (wild but untrue) of a deal in the works were completely irresponsible.

The good thing about an appeal - it means that EA didn't like the verdict. Sweet.
