a couple new details here~
Wu's son: 'If they had just told me that he missed one day of class, I would have been very alarmed'
"Wu’s body was found at the mouth of a river at Boca Chica Beach by a drone around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, right at the U.S.-Mexico border.

His body was a mile-and-a-half away from his vehicle, [Captain] Reyna said, and he had been walking through rugged terrain near the SpaceX South Texas launch site.

“He probably got disoriented or something,” Reyna said. “He saw the lights.”

Around the time of his disappearance, the Kingsville Police Department said in a news release that a large sum of money had been withdrawn from Dr. Wu's account. The department still is trying to determine whether that withdrawal was made with any criminal intent."

If this unfortunate gentleman had been abducted, forced to transfer money & denied access to his essential medication/ & or diet, his death from complications of untreated diabetes could be described as ‘natural causes’.

He may have been threatened at gunpoint & acquiesced, so may not have external injuries.

He also may have been released seemingly ‘unharmed’ but in a confused state, but been able to reach help in time & succumbed to a diabetic crisis.

Just a thought. MOO.

I sincerely hope no-one else was involved/responsible for his death.

Rest in Peace Professor Wu.

This was the scenario that I also immediately visualized but I'm waiting on more info. It's a pretty long shot at this point.
