That is the timeframe, and that is the search radius.

If I had to guess, I would say that C was going out with her sister for a "girls' night out," and they probably went to a Hispanic/Mexican club or bar nearby - He was gone for approximately 40 minutes. So, 20 minutes (give or take) there and back depending on how long he had to wait outside or go in to pick up C and her sister.


1:23 am HS, Jr. leaves the Carriage House with his two younger children.

2:01 am HS, Jr. returns with his wife, sister-in-law and the children

Yes... 28 minutes to get somewhere and return to the motel. He leaves again at 12:33 and returns back at 12:58... 25 minutes that trip. So did he realize some of EE's personal belongings were still at the motel and he needed to discard of those too?

It took him 28 minutes to leave the motel (kids in tow) pick them up and return back. They couldn't have been far.

If anyone here has been following the SAR Thread for Hailey Dunn in the basement, we should look on the Google Maps like they did, for any suspicious pieces of land to search. You can take a snapshot with the GPS co-ordinates, or just post the co-ords here.

If HS JR didn't "pass" her off to someone else, then the window of the search radius would be extremely small.

28 minutes to take her somewhere, harm her, leave her, and make it back to the Motel.

So, I would say that 1-15 minute radius from the Motel would be an absolute Maximum.

Yes, possibly, Texaslil, and I would suggest that this timeframe on the second trip of 25 minutes, very strongly leads to the fact that he did not "pass" her off to someone, that wherever he took her, was within a 1-15 Minute drive away.

Really really want to know too, whose children were in that motel room and I hope like heck they are now in protective custody, HOPEFULLY away from ANY family members until this sordid mess is sorted out.
And it might not be a bad idea for the VE's other children to be also....since a father has never been mentioned or alluded to.

WTH do these parents of missing kids have to lie, dance around and NOT tell the darn truth about stuff to begin with?
Do they not know the TRUTH is gonna come out eventually???

I am so mad I want to put these irresponsible parents In a showtime boot camp

Yes, but don't forget the fact that he also went to EE's home during this time, he was there at 1:45 am to drop the purse off to EE's brother.

EE's home itself must be within a 1-15 minute drive to the CHM.

So, HS JR, GF, Sister, Children AND Virginia Ennen, all arrive back at the Motel at 2:00 am.

So if we assume the first 28 minute trip was to take EE somewhere then the distance would be:

Avg speed of 40 mph (taking all streets) for 28 minutes = approx. 19 miles round trip or 9.5 miles each way.

Avg speed of 50 mph (some streets and some highways) for 28 minutes = approx. 23 miles round trip or 11.5 miles each way.

Either way that's quite a large radius!!!

It's a very industrial area around a bunch of beltways, freeways, etc.

The warrant says that EE's mother provided HS III's phone number and name, in the day(s) after the initial report, as she felt that EE had run away with him.

The focus of the investigation was then HS III and EE's friends.

On January 21, 2010 the Officer interviewed HS JR and his GF.

So, her COUSIN insisted she would NOT just leave... but her MOTHER thought she ran away with her boyfriend without her meds, her purse, or any extra clothes?

I wonder if LE would have taken it more seriously if the Mother done so? If she had been as insistent as the rest of the family that Beth would not run away?

Elizabeth Ennen has not been seen nor had contact with anyone since Salinas "escorted" her to the parking lot. Elizabeth's mother reported her missing around midnight January 5th after she did not return from a babysitting job. Police first listed her as a runaway. On Saturday, January 22nd, police announced they had found evidence leading them to believe she was kidnapped.

That's 17 days to find the video, identify the suspect and make an arrest.

I wonder if they've looked at more videos at that motel before and after the one night she was known to be there.

There is no excuse for waiting that long. Even if you DO think she ran away with her boyfriend, get the video to prove your theory! It takes like an hour to pull it up an review it. :maddening:

Respectfully, BBM. I'm assuming that VE went to the hotel to look for her daughter after being told that she had been dropped off at home and her daughter was not there.

I must have missed the part where VE lied -- please direct me to what she lied about.

Also, please remember that WS is a victim-friendly forum. And, VE is considered to be a victim. Bashing of victims in any case is NOT allowed.

It is an industrial part of the city. The poster who stated about a 10 mile radius is correct in my estimation. At that time of night, he would be able to drive about 10-12 miles before turning around.

However, that doesn't leave much time for indecision. If he disposed of a body, IMO, he'd have to know exactly where to go.

This is one event where they should head STRAIGHT to the landfill and see what was dumped in the days after she was reported missing.

Lubbock has no storm drains. Everything drains into what are called playa lakes in local parks. Just west of the hotel are two of these drainage type lakes. There are a lot of these in Lubbock, but not many outside of Lubbock. They aren't that deep and if a body was disposed of there, it would need weighing down.

He might have been able to make it to Buffalo Springs Lake in that time, but again, he'd have to know a ravine to dump a body in.

Lubbock is very flat so a body would stand out on the surface.

We also know EE left the motel alive since the video shows him forcing her into the the car. IMO he would need time to possibly tie EE up somewhere or, the one I hate to think about... possibly kill her before dumping her somewhere.

It sounds to me like he done or tried to do something sexually to Elizabeth in the hotel room and it scared Elizabeth, so she ran out of the hotel room. Holding her shoes and attempting to put on her coat.

He ran after her because he was afraid if she got away she would tell someone.

He caught her, stuck her and the car and did something awful to her.
