Detective Wallace Wyatt ensured that Liz's case is not going cold. He said just recently, investigators traveled to Miami to interview a person of interest.
"We want more leads. We follow every lead," Wyatt said.

It’s been five years since the death of Texas woman, Elizabeth Barraza, and Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
On January 25, 2019, someone shot and killed 29-year-old Barraza while she was setting up a garage sale in front of her Tomball residence. Her loved ones vowed never to give up hope that the perpetrator responsible for her death would eventually be apprehended.
“Somewhere out there knows who killed Elizabeth that morning. Please come forward and assist. You’ve already heard of the $50,000 reward. That’s significant,” Gonzalez said.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).

On January 25th, 2019, Barraza was killed in her driveway while setting up a garage sale at her home in Tomball. She was trying to make extra money to save for an anniversary trip. An unknown assailant approached Barraza and shot her multiple times before fleeing in a dark-colored Nissan Frontier truck. Officials said two minutes later, the same vehicle circled back to Barraza's home.
