Hernandez's sister, Ashley and her two older children Dennis, 16, and Briza, 19, sat down with ABC13 on what has been one of their toughest days.

"Life goes on, but it really doesn't for us," Briza said as a tear rolled down her cheek. "You know, our main focus is to just keep searching for her. To keep looking for clues, and keep spreading her story around because we are not going to stop."

Missing mom Erica Hernandez: Family praying for answers Mother's Day weekend (fox26houston.com)
[...]

Sunday marked 3 weeks since Hernandez went missing. According to Armenta, Mother’s Day has been especially tough this year for their family.

"I don’t have my mom here to celebrate with me and my brothers," said Armenta. "There’s just no words to describe how upsetting that is and how sad it feels."

[...]

"Mom, if you’re watching this, I would say just stay strong," said Armenta. "We have a lot of people looking for you. One way or another, we’re going to find you no matter what it takes."

The whole point of a carjacking is to take the car not the person in it! They force out the driver and then take off.

You dont take any passengers with you because then it becomes a kidnapping. The criminal elements that do carjackings from the reports I read, are professional and quick. If a passenger is too much of an obstacle they take off.

So she would have been found besides the road, or she would have been on foot and made contact immediately after her car was taken.

There are too many cameras at that gasstation for something to have occured, right there.

IMO its about her destination and what happened there. Was this a planned meeting or spontaneous?

You made greats points about carjacking and her disappearance. This makes me question if her vehicle was carjacked. I doubt there was much traffic at 2:30am.
The possibility of a carjacker is feasible, but as you pointed out professionals just want the vehicle not the driver.
Driving home at 2:30am it’s highly likely most women would lock their car doors of safety reasons.

it is not just you and your are not reading too much into it. something is not right about the whole "maggie text" especially that she texted 5min later to make sure. I wonder if phone records would show Maggie texting Erica any other time they hung out late. i too would like to know who else was there. i also don't think she was planning on staying home after she dropped off the car. why say drop off the car when you can say go home?

Does anyone else know anything else about Maggie and her husband?

Important Info; Please Read!

Erica’s Story

She got to our house(brother and myself) at 8:08 pm Saturday evening. She was at our home dropping off pupusas and then left at 8:16 pm. The video you see on the news is her leaving OUR HOME. She had all 3 of her kids in the Acadia, that is why the vehicle was on and you see the lights on.She then got in her vehicle and in the video you see her walk then jog a bit because the driveway is inclined. She got in her car and drove off.

She then went home to drop off all of her kids and then went to her friends house to drop off food to her.

It is said she hung out with her friend and the husband till about 2:32 am(according to her friend).

They text back n forth on Erica's way home. Her friend sent a text at 3:04am asking if she(Erica) was almost home..Erica text back saying she was 5 minutes away from getting home. The friend then text Erica 3 more times after that, and Erica did not respond.

Later we find out from authorities that she was seen (not indicating if someone saw her, or they saw a video or any specifics) by the area of S. Post Oak and Court Rd. That is where the focus has been on.

I am writing this so our public knows the timeline and not get the story twisted.

Onstar, phone, friend, number unknown.. EVERYTHING IS BEING RESEARCHED BY AUTHORITIES!

The FBI is now involved. Some info is being withheld for specific reasons.

I want our public to know that we have and are looking into every avenue we have access too.

Thank you all for your support, love, prayers and understanding. I hope this clears up some questions you all might have. Thank you for reading this. God bless each and everyone of you!

Video shows missing mother of 3 outside sister-in-law’s house night before disappearance

Eliva said possibly around 9:30 p.m., Hernandez went back out to her best friend Maggie’s house..

......
The two links I quoted and this article’s link above are the only times I have seen her friend’s name (and/or a husband) mentioned beyond they were texting on Erica’s way home.
As far as the friend’s role in searching or sharing any info that may help, I’ve only read the one comment I quoted above.

At this point, isn’t the most likely possibility that she was impaired and she and the car are under water?
Definitely a possibility, but why was she seen not on the route home after she texted her friend she was 5 min. away? And who did she call after texting her friend? A number no one recognizes. Is there a body of water anywhere around where she was seen on surveillance video? Anywhere on the route home from that gas station?

'We're not going to stop,' family says of search for missing Texas mother - ABC News
[...]

Erica Hernandez's sister and two of her three children told ABC station KTRK in Houston that Mother's Day was one of the most agonizing and lonely days they've had to endure since she vanished in April.

[...]

"She's a very caring, loving person. Even though me and my sister can be annoying to her sometimes," said Hernandez's 16-year-old son Dennis. "She still finds a way to bring joy to the situation and lift us up any possible way."

[...]

"There's no trace of her. No activity on her account. There's no sighting of her vehicle specifically, you know. That's a crime," Ashley Hernandez told KTRK.

Asked what message she would send to her mother if she could, Armenta said, "Just know that we love you. We're not going to stop. No matter what it takes."

Court Rd

There’s several bodies of water and such just south of Court & S Post Oak. (Esp close to the other last seen location mentioned in earlier reports- Fort Bend Tollway & FM2234).

•links & a few screenshots of water is posted earlier in thread

Yes, although technically, we don't know what the destination was. Her car was last seen at the gas station crossroads, but where she was heading, we don't know.

I also get the feeling it was a spontaneous meeting. When she was done being at her friend's house for 5 hours, she then phoned the mystery number to arrange......something.

And this person was happy to oblige, even if it was 3 in the morning!!

I think the surveillance footage would show what direction she went because she might have not been heading home. If the intersection was the last place she was seen, did she turn off her phone after she called the unknown number? I am sure the FBI is reviewing all the surveillance footage because there might have been a lot. Hopefully they’ll find something soon.

Interesting that I think it was Texas Equusearch that found that vehicle submerged in that lake that turned out not to be Erica’s SUV. I think detectives are definitely running on the idea that her car could be submerged in water. I guess figuring out where she was headed that night is part of the missing puzzle. Praying for Erica’s family. ❤️

Maybe it really was Erica texting her friend that she was almost home and maybe she lied because she didn't want the friend to know who she was meeting/where she was going/what she was doing. And then something happened to her. MOO
