Luis called his wife to tell her that he was about to cross the Rio Bravo, a friend who is in custody of ICE told other relatives that they went walking and Luis suffered some pain and couldn't walk any more, they left him under a tree with a bottle of water.

According to Google the distance between Falfurrias and McAllen is 75 miles. Could he have made it there in 2 weeks?
