After my own experience as a juror, I don’t read too much into jury questions anymore. It could be just one person being confused. And judges don’t provide clarification anyway. Jurors have to rely on the instructions they have been given.

I also have to say, being a juror and seeing how apathetic and just plain dumb ppl can be has really sobered me up about our jury system. People come in there with all kinds of personal biases and try to make decisions based on those and will use ‘what if’ scenarios to justify their half-cocked reasoning. And one juror was just controlling but thought she was smarter than all of us and pretty much held us hostage for a whole day. Some folks just don’t want the responsibility and sit there being contrarian. It was an extremely frustrating experience.
 
it almost has to be manslaughter....or hung. They kept saying it was not a verdict but now it is?
