dna testing in 1993 wasnt very exact anyways.

but they granted him a stay but still might not do the testing? thats absurd

I am all for the death penalty IF proven DNA and evidence proof.
While on death row, this should be done asap.......if not at trial.
Years ago, no DNA..........today there is.
Do the DNA........guilty DP asap.
Not guilty, do the right thing.

I just watched a special on this guy on ID. It's called death row. JIMO....from the way he talks, the way he portrays himself? I honestly think this guy is innocent! Do the darn DNA!

DNA testing proceeds, but guilt questions in Skinner case linger
Inmate facing death for 1993 triple killing pinned hopes on DNA evidence

By Allan Turner – The Houston Chronicle
November 14, 2012

For more than 10 years Henry Skinner, sentenced to die for a 1993 Texas Panhandle triple murder, has insisted that DNA testing of previously unexamined crime scene evidence would prove his innocence. Early and incomplete results of those tests released on Wednesday, however, seem to raise as many questions as they answer.

My mom just called me and asked me if I knew anything about this case.

He's still sitting on death row, still insisting his innocence.
I've read some things about this, but not enough to have a good feel for it.

Interesting though.

A Texas Department of Public Safety expert testified Tuesday that genetic material found on a knife at the scene of a 1993 triple homicide was consistent with Hank Skinner’s DNA profile, but the death row inmate’s defense team maintains that another man killed the family.

Skinners attorney makes a valid case here about the crime scene and where his DNA should have been placed:

“If Mr. Skinner stabbed Randy Busby in the manner claimed by the state, Mr. Skinner’s blood should have been on the blanket of Randy’s bed. It was not. If Mr. Skinner’s hands were covered with the victims’ blood when he staggered out of the house, their blood should have been mixed with his on the doorknobs he touched. It was not,” Owen said in a statement.
