Just to add someone has commented that missing Danielle Sleeper was last seen at her home on Turtle Dove Ln in Magnolia in 2015, 10 min away from the place of this remains. I don't know those locations so not sure how far they are from each other or if it is really that close.

Her thread here on ws - TX - TX - Danielle Sleeper, 32, Magnolia, 22 March 2015

Google maps shows it's 17.5 miles (23 mins) from Magnolia to Hockley, TX.

Danielle Sleeper apparently wore acrylic nails. I wonder if she usually dressed up a bit to go out? I don't think a cookout at a friend's house in Fields House, Tx (quite close to Magnolia and easy jaunt to Hockley) would merit such fancy dress though, and she was last seen in more casual clothes. Too bad the remains were skeletal so we can't match Daniells's tattoos. And yeah, I agree the clothes seem more on the younger end.

The only place besides Houston or its outskirts where there might be any action worth dressing up for out there might be in Prairie View, but I'd expect the UID to be younger and Black. It's so easy to zip up 290 out of Houston. Whoever dumped her didn't go too far off of the highway so maybe wasn't super familiar with the area. Just my two cents!

That was me re the distance the house she was last seen at is closer than measuring from the town. There was a lot I found out that matched (If you ignored the apparently abusive partners discription if last known clothing) Doe has been id . I know al and some others will know this. I don't know if it is Danielle, and I hope she is out there living her life still, but i'm glad doe has gone home and has been id.

Family has informed me few days ago that police contacted them with sad news that DNA came as match to their missing daughter. They have met with police in person yesterday and I have mention it on FB that she has been identified but I have not released the name as it is not my place to do.

I have not seen any official announcement in the news yet and I am not sure if there will be one. But let's see, maybe in few days. Their daughter was reported missing and was/is listed also on Charley project. She is none of the above mentioned suggestions.

Jane Doe case is gone today from NamUs.

Any updates on this Al Ka? Do you know if they’ve released a name?

After your post I have double checked and I can't find any police press release or any news media reporting about it or her identification unfortunately.

Her profile as missing is also still up on Charley Project, very likely also due to no media realease and update on the case unfortunately.

I see there was also another unidentified woman in Hockley, found in 1984 and identified only in 2017. Also than there was no public release, press conference or media informed about identification after 34 years but there was ONE news article 3 years after identification. I am not sure what is happening in Harris county...

Oh wow. That’s strange. Thanks for checking on it!

I’m always asking myself, “what’s going on in Harris County?” LOL ;)

As per local comments abandoned property where she was found is not actualy property as such, meaning there is no house, just abandoned rural land.
There WAS a house. It had need reduced to a pile of rubble by that time, but it wasn't just a random field...
