I've lost track of who's being discussed as a possible match and this message is to confirm that I did report this MP in June 2022 and received confirmation from TX region Namus that the info submitted was forwarded to the appropriate people/agencies.

ETA: I received a similar response as reported by @Canadianmom2three
Your not the only one who lost track somehow along the line. Thank you for submitting @Seattle and get us back on track @bombardier. Good to know Marcelino Julian Mendez Perez is ruled out.

Yes, I've always thought they were arrested while in a car or walking since I was not able to find the exact address.
I was thinking it was 40-60 miles. I flew into Houston and drove to Galveston to stay, so I was aware of the distance. I still think both being in this same Metro area means there is a much higher chance it's the same person. Although, I could very well be wrong and we won't know until it is confirmed, if it ever is. But I'd still be shocked. Hopefully we will find out soon. ALL MOO of course. :)
I was looking into the "Municipal Hold" category. Note that all three were arrested under Municipal Hold. Galveston tends to use disorderly conduct, public intoxication as Municipal Hold. Galveston Arrests over Mardi Gras Weekend | Mark Diaz

I also noted there were about 11 people arrested for Municipal Hold on the same day that Alejandro and his companions were arrested for Municipal Hold. Something tells me they were on feet. A moving violation would likely have resulted in another type of citation for the driver. MOO The older of the three was arrested 10 minutes before the younger of the three. Galveston County Sheriff's Office P2C

(Although Municipal Hold can be used as a hold for warrants in other jurisdictions, I think the fact that all three were arrested on Municipal Holds indicates they were up to some local mischief..)

Very interesting points! Thanks for this post!

Why hasn't his identity been confirmed when there's been a clear match? Shoddy work from the PD.
He could have given a false name when arrested. They might have been unable to find family to confirm his identity with DNA. His immigration status could have meant his background and origins are difficult to determine. There are many, many reasons identity can take a long time to confirm.

Look at Pepper Doe's thread. Someone found a Facebook with a person who looks very, very close to the sketch, whose photo shows an identical tattoo in exactly the same place as Pepper a week or two ago. They're still calling on social media for anyone who recognises Pepper's description, even though I and others on the thread think it's impossible for Pepper to be anyone else.

Also, I think it's important to mention that sometimes, in cases of suicide, we don't get a resolution if a family wants privacy.

MOO

I checked the weather; no way this was hypothermia, it didn't get lower than 12C that night.
Although I agree that this case sounds like a definite suicide, your assertion is factually inaccurate. A young adult can die of hypothermia at that temperature - if they have consumed a large amount of alcohol, if they are wet, or if they are unwell.
