The young mother and her much older boyfriend moved around a lot. They have connections in Missouri, Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Louisiana and Texas. The much older boyfriend (in his 60s) has gone by several different names and moves around a lot. I suspect this child was a run-away or illegally in the country that was picked up by these two and something happened. I don't know though. If so, it will be almost impossible to figure out unless someone else comes forward to give more information. This child is too young to give a timeline or location and is extremely guarded when talking about it. Her therapist says if he even phrases something as a question she shuts down.

NamUs has recently added Jasmin Manriquez to the rule out list. Also, I've been looking at this one girl whom was abducted by her mother and stepfather back in 2004. Her name is Mary Nunes and she suffered from a severe case of the vascular condition, Arteriovenous Malformations. IIRC, Smurfette had some type of a malformation to the skull. Mary's mother turned her self in a couple of months ago, but has refused to say where Mary is, which officials have somewhat said is suspicious. Mary does not have DNA in NamUs and I feel she could be very well worth looking into as a possible match for our girl.

This new information about Mary states that she is believed to of had been staying in Colorado and south of the United States during an unidentified amount of time during her disappearance which may very well fit with the isotope testing results done on Smurfette. Mary's mother still hasn't provided Mary's presence.

Has anyone taken a look at Kaitlin Kearney? She was reported missing by her mother on September 4, 2012. Very new articles (March 1, 2015) mention that she is still missing and there were reports of her being seen right after she disappeared and then the sightings just stopped. Her narrow nose, and hair color seem to match. "Kearney is about five feet tall, weighs 110 pound"....

Recently added to NamUs, Vanessa Cebreros. In the first picture, her hair is obviously straightened, but what little you can see of her hair in the second shows her hair obviously has texture. Height and age match. I don't see a resemblance to the composite, and she had less than three weeks to get from California to Texas, but could this be Vanessa?

The article states Sheena called her grandmother twice about a month before the article was published (march 2012) and once stated she was in Chicago, and the next that she was in the Bahamas - she was rushed off of the phone by an unknown male.

Incredibly far fetched, it's hard to imagine a little girl could travel so far from home, but IF she did, I can see where a little girl from Jamaica could easily mix up two big US cities like Chicago and Houston.

She doesn't look exactly like the reconstruction, but I see similarities. Coastal ports make this idea a bit more believable IMO.

We have an album for her on Never Forget Me; someone suggested Kimberly; so Still_Seek_Answers called LE who said that Kimberly Orellana has nothing to compare to, they are trying to locate family to get a swab hopefully to get compared. I've grabbed the quotes for Kim so I could see who said what.

Here the timeline fits, the area fits, the age is a little young 12. There seems to be an overbite, and even the circumstances sort of fit.
