Thanks you for contacting him. Well the JD doesn't have dna available. Do we know if they can run tests on her to complete it?

Looks like a possible match. The nose and teeth are similar and they're both light skinned. Cheryl was added on namus only mars 2019. The missing date of 1 Jan 73 indicates they don't know when exactly she went missing. Looks promising.

I'm new here but I also noticed the similarities and submitted Cheryl Lanier for this. I became interested after reading about serial killer Samuel Little and his unmatched confession: Black female between 25-28 years old killed between 1976 and 1979 or in 1993. (Samuel Little: Confessions of a Killer | Federal Bureau of Investigation)

I think the sketch resembles the UID: https://www.fbi.gov/image-repositor...-victim-black-female-houston-1976-79-1993.jpg

I'm sure there is no way to ever prove this (even if it wasn't such a long-shot) but just thought I'd share.

Refreshing the thread... still only the one exclusion listed.

She has very nice teeth. Something you don’t often see in transient people.

Hi, I have made a connection with this Jane Doe and a missing person case out of California, Cheryl Lanier, NamUs #MP56066. I sent in my info to NamUs a couple months ago, but have not seen any activity on her Namus page or the MP page. I did receive an email stating they were forwarding to appropriate agencies, but it seemed like a generic reply. I have a very good superimposement/comparison video, if I'm able to figure out how to upload it here. The video and still pics I have show an almost 100% match..I just don't know what more I can do to get this lady's family the closure they need. Feel free to message me on Facebook messenger ( Kristi Parfait ). I will upload a few pics, but the video is too large. Message me on Facebook messenger if you would like to see the video. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I also see that HoustonMom has made the connection as well!! So awesome!! Has there been any updates from when you submitted your info??

I remain in contact with Harris County Forensic Science Institute and they have not received feedback from California on Cheryl Lanier. Sad....
