The address is about 37 minutes from where the doe was found. I wonder if anyone has contacted the softball association to see if any players went missing or stopped showing up.

The map on Namus opens to a different location than what is listed on the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences page. The address given is 18435 Morton Rd which has an accumulator business next to a grassy and wooded area which I believe is the one referred to on the Namus page. With skeletal remains, I wonder how long the doe was there for.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children released a digital reconstructed image of a man whose skeletal remains were found in west Houston in 2023.

A digitally reconstructed image of an unidentified young man, whose skeletal remains were found on Oct. 30, 2023, has been released by the Harris County Institute for Forensic Sciences.

The victim's remains were found in a grassy and wooded area near 18435 Morton Road. He is described as a Black male, between 16 and 22-years-old, believed to have been between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Looking at his social media accounts further confirms that this Doe might be Delonte. Plus the distance between the two addresses being less than 20 minutes away is interesting as well. I wonder if Delonte or the Doe went to Mayde Creek High seeing as the body appears to have been found close to there.

Therefore I have submitted this to Detective Perez as well as the Harris County Institute for Forensic Sciences.

That was the one other kid I thought this John Doe could be because I could find no info on him, so I am glad to see that he has been ruled out.

Hopefully we can either confirm or rule-out Delonte soon too.

There were a few reasons why I thought this might be him.

There were other missing young black boys whose disappearances hint towards possible death from harm, drugs, or suicide. A few were missing avoiding murder charges and were eventually caught. But Delonte Taylor's online activity/presence is quite empty.

On both his Facebook accounts he has very very few friends, with nothing hinting towards family except for a godparents. No siblings? No info as to any parents? No online friends his age? I found nothing. That is concerning. He's a teen in 2023, his social media activity and virtual presence should be increasing with age, but it's the opposite.

It appears that his social circle is small. Also concerning. More social activity/involvement means more people notice and question when you are gone. And a quicker time from disappearance to identification.

Plus no online mention/activity is showing that anyone is even questioning his whereabouts. Is no one concerned about the whereabouts of this kid? Someone did, there's a NamUs profile but I can't find much else. And no info on missing person cases for a young teen is something I expect to see less and less in the internet day and age.

He went missing just before the school year was to start. Was he avoiding the first year at a new school? In a new location? Was he in foster care? Was it CPS that filed a missing persons report?

It's the lack of information that makes me wonder if this is him. There's nothing to fill in the blanks.

Lastly, we have seen cases be off by a lot more than a few inches before. He was a teenage boy, I personally think the accuracy of that information heavily depends on how often that was being measured/recorded/observed by a doctor.

I hope that makes sense.

So I did some research into The Pearland Girls Softball Association, and it appears that in 2015 they changed their logo removing the word girls from the top, so that the new logo reads "Pearland Girls Softball Association" instead of "Girls Pearland Softball Association". If the doe has no connection to this organization, then obviously this doesn't help, but if they do, they would have acquired the sweatshirt during or before 2015.

I am aware of that. I just felt proximity, recon and image comparison, lack of online media presence, date of last seen/body found. It's a guess based on the culmination of all these things.

I’m not saying I’m absolutely certain it’s him. In fact it’s most likely to be someone who doesn’t have a NamUs profile at all. Someone assumed to have run away or without a report. But we couldn’t possibly figure out who that could be because it would be impossible because they wouldn’t be reported.

I just think he’s a strong possibility out of all the available options I have been able to find. I like to discuss here on WS and not shoot down any possibilities. And in my opinion I felt Delonte was the best possible fit.

And,if he’s not him that’s great!! that means Delonte is still out there and hopefully doing well. And it continues to keep eyes on both cases.

It’s a win-win in my eyes.
