As the search continues for the man suspected of killing a Dallas woman, another family has come forward fearful for their loved one.

Jasmine Adams, 21, was last seen by her family on New Year's Day. Her mother, Lora Bacy, says she moved out of their Fort Worth home to live with Brandon Sampson.

Bacy says Sampson showed up at her house to help Adams pack her belongings.

She had no idea Sampson was suspected by a Dallas family of harming another woman, 34-year-old Jacqueline Hughes.

Earlier this week, Bacy says a detective showed up at her door wondering if she's heard from Adams.

She says her daughter isn't responding to calls or texts, and she is worried she's being held against her will.

"I just want her to come home. Just call me. Tell me something," Bacy said.

A missing person report has been filed for Adams.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment of Brandon Sampson.

Brandon Sampson:

The families of two women prayed together for resolution on Saturday.

21-year-old Jasmin Adams has been missing since she was last seen on New Year’s Day.
34-year-old Jacqueline Hughes was found dead early this month in South Oak Cliff. Her suspected murderer.

Brandon Sampson, is a suspect in both women’s disappearance, and is still at large. Adams’ family maintains there's no way she'd willingly be with a man capable of any kind of harm.

This is just awful. I wonder how long she knew him before packing her belongings and moving out with him? It couldn't have been too long.

Praying that they find her soon, alive and well. Unfortunately, I don't feel they will find her alive, especially since she hasn't contacted any of her family or friends since she left with him. What a heartbreaking story for two families.

Jasmine Adams was found alive and unharmed with Sampson in San Bernadino County just outside of Los Angeles. Sampson was at a home within the county, and that Adams was shortly found safe nearby.

Adams said that she was doing ok—but did not discuss any other details about Sampson. Right now, police say she faces no charges.

Sampson was being held at the West Valley Detention Center in California, according to online records. It is not known when he will be transported back to Texas.
