Article about the case:

The convicted guy said that Daggett was having an affair with his wife
Sounds like murder for hire.
One of the guys who he tried to hire, (but refused to participate) told his wife.
She told the police, before Daggett disappeared.

One of the suspects, George McIntyre is serving a 75 year sentence for another case
The case against the third defendant was dismissed in 2012

There are people who accept that their partners cheat on them or they walk away or become part of the love triangle in which they find themselves involved... it is most likely that he was murdered by a hitman because in the end he did not want to leave a mark and although he was imprisoned It's just for plotting to kill, he didn't do it directly...
Joseph is still not found and I think he will stay that way...
either way
rest in peace
