NEW BRAUNFELS It was bitterly cold the February night that Joshua Davis Jr. went missing from his home in New Braunfels.
People disappear every day in this country. We become acquainted with these missing strangers through fliers taped on the doors and windows of convenience and grocery stores and tacked onto telephone poles. Rarely do we learn their fate.
Alonzo Washington, who says he works as a voice for the parents of missing children, said Sunday that while the attention out there for Baby Lisa is good, there's one child in Texas who has been forgotten18-month-old Baby Joshua Davis.
NEW BRAUNFELS - Nearly a year after a New Braunfels toddler disappeared from his home, his parents still have no information about where the boy could be.
Seven adults were present around the time Joshua Davis Jr. went missing from his New Braunfels home last year. A New Braunfels police official said Wednesday that detectives now believe that some of them haven't told the truth about what happened that night.
On Saturday, family members and close friends gathered at the Heidi Search Center to mark the anniversary and to pray for his safe return.

(New Braunfels, TX) -- Today marks the 2-year anniversary of the disappearance of Joshua Davis Jr., the local toddler who appeared to simply vanish on a very cold night on Feb. 4th, 2011.
The father of Joshua Davis Jr., a toddler who went missing more than two years ago from his family's rural New Braunfels mobile home, was arrested this week on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation on an unrelated burglary charge, police said.
