Thanks for posting this. I've followed along for a while, so I know that Rachel is a nickname for Mary, but it took me a while to figure that out, and it was very confusing. I recommend that we refer to Mary as "Mary (Rachel)" or "Mary/Rachel" or just "Mary" (since that the name used for her on the websleuths listing) in order to avoid confusing new users.

ETA: Maybe the best alternative would be to change the listing title to include Mary "Rachel" Trlica.

Looks like this was taken the day they got married. Where'd you find this?

Anything new, FT Cat, since you’ve been sending the messages?

Nope! But, I promise that once they are all delivered - I will publish them here. That will be the week after Christmas. Plus any responses (which I do not expect.) This is a message in a bottle mission. I have an 'A'Team assembled. That will be the last "Message." Message #1 is 'The Envelope', Message #2. is 'The Letter.' Message #3 gets mailed tomorrow - Subject: "Lies and Alibies." Drip, drip, drip...

Since you believe you know where to find the missing vehicle, is hiring a freelance diver a possibility?

The only "un-fact" that was published for decades was the police theory that the girls got into a vehicle "with someone they trusted." I'm here trying to complete that theory to its logical conclusion. So, I have a strong opinion about who that person was. I have a suspect #1 vehicle . And; I have a strong opinion about where that person would have placed that vehicle. But, the police haven't lifted a finger to find a "missing" vehicle even on paper. That can and should have been done - FIRST. I never said, "Drag all the lakes and rivers." I'm not saying that now. I'm saying - rule in or out the potential that a car is missing from the investigation, because I believe those girls are still at that crime scene. It's the only reasonable explanation of how they disappeared, forever, before anyone knew they were missing. Bodies of water give their victims back, under most circumstances. This would be the exception. Not saying they are still there - since cars are removed for reasons The Army Corps of Engineers legally responsible to perform. This place puts them in a deep place - possibly undisturbed for that reason. The Corps wasn't aware those 3 cars were there - neither did FWPD, neither did Benbrook PD. I called 3 agencies to ask about the feasibility of recovering evidence in a resevoir lake. All 3 said, "Hang up and call the FWPD. Tell them what you just told me. If they call us we will come and investigate for free." So, after about two weeks I did. A State certified forensic diver and an assistant came and donated an entire day (about $1800) on July 1st, 2014. We know enough that we can't rule any of them OUT. But, since things were not done in order, and the police did not appreciate the in-your-face way it was carried out, there isn't any will on their part to do what should have been done FIRST - establish a reason to dive at all. I am trying to get it done right. The dive team is lined up. This is NOT about money. But, diving for evidence is dependent on many things lining up perfectly. I'd be satisfied to dive and get VIN #'s. That would be a great step in the right direction. 90% of what needs to be known can be learned from those VIN#'s - especially if one of them lines up with a car that is missing and shouldn't be. Sorry, most short questions come with long answers.

FT Worth Cat, do you have the VIN number of the missing car? Or want VIN numbers of the sunken cars to trace those cars? Was the title to the missing car ever in TT’s name? He had a transmission shop, so many cars pass through his hands.

There you go - those are the questions. In order: NO - it has not been established that a car legally or otherwise connected to any suspect IS missing. Though, that was the FWPD's original theory. My theory is that whereas there is only one suspect; rule in or out, using information from the original investigation, the case file, whether that suspect's vehicle "list" is complete. I don't believe it is. I think there is one the police were unaware of. That's the short answer.

There is something that needs to be explained better. What I am attempting to do is get this case to a "tipping point." If a 2,000 pound piece of "circumstantial evidence" can be added to the case - probable cause is established. That would inspire the County District Attorney to put it before the Grand Jury. If The Tarrant County DA has no backbone, well... The State Attorney General would have the same information. I am attempting to "Prove a Negative." The State cannot shift the burden of proof. Except when they can.

The suspect's alibi is crap. People flat lied. Google "Grand Jury." That would be a home-run for this case. People would be compelled to testify, but in absolute secrecy. The thing about the truth is this: you don't need a good memory. If you lie to the police, for ANY reason, it will begat another lie. People lied to deflect. They lied to protect. They lied because they were in denial that their own actions may have contributed to this tragedy. They lied, in some cases, because they believed, deep down inside, that the police would figure it out without their involvement. The problem is; that didn't happen.

Once the inconsistent and shifting stories are over-layed on a squishy timeline; the truth will be bared. There are inexplicable time lapses. The suspect had motive and opportunity. Last man standing.
If I want someone to say "Yes" - I remove every reason they have to say "No." That's how I work. So; I'm still working. I think of them on their birthdays. I know their families will suffer through another Christmas, like all the ones since, and like every Christmas in their future. They will suffer to the grave.

There is no "Hollywood" ending to the story. Well; a confession would be nice. It would make all the papers, and so on...and so on. Instead; it's a grind. If your child were missing you would NEVER quit. I would never quit. If anyone you loved and cared about were missing you would never lose hope. Over 43 years; you adjust what you hope for.

Still here, waiting to see if FW Cat gets any responses to the Messages in the Bottles.

Not so far. I expect that will change in the next 3 weeks. I'm not feeling ignored. Message in a bottle #7 will probably get me an invitation to Police Headquarters. It's ok. I have stuff that belongs to them. It's all part of the plan. If there were anything to tell I couldn't tell. But, there's nothing to tell.

Thank you for updating. I'm checking back often. I care, as I know others do also. Hoping so much for answers and ultimately justice for these girls.

I'm working something different. But, I'm still working. After I've said everything to police. I'm done. Between Christmas and New Year's I'll publish whatever I have told them here. So keep watching. And pray for these people - all of them.

Praying for them all... And for you as well. I have so much respect for you and what you're doing.
