So are ya'll thinking the first fake Identity she used may have been Janice Barker (because perhaps she knew the Barkers well...or may even be related to them)? I am confused.

I think we chased ourselves off the runway. I will meet myself on he way back.... ;)

I can understand how you feel herstory. But there are so many things that can fit here. You have linked the Barkers to Thailand. They would have visitors in their home. They could have had an old letter from the hotel that FLEK took and altered. The bridal shop connection can't be ignored either. I am really wondering whether Kim L. Worked there. It is really not unfathomable that FLEK started with another ID as we all think she is older than the first known ID indicates. Although I think that Janice B. Is older than FLEK was, if FLEK was under 18 when she took the identity (IF she took it...notice big IF), she would have wanted to be older so she would have an ID putting her as an adult.

There are just a lot of connections here. Even if she didn't take Janice B. As an ID, if we can make a connection to Woodbine cemetery To El Caballo address, that may lead us to another ID. Just never know.

I assume, seeing how she passed away in Lakeland (a nursing home) in Medical Lake while they lived in Coulee Dam.....and William Barnes oversaw the funeral arrangements, she is likely buried in the vicinity of there, and nowhere near Woodbine. But you never know.

I had read in an article somewhere on here that said "In those days, it was not uncommon for counties to mail out a birth certificate to whoever asked for a copy." It would be interesting to know what address that birth certificate had been mailed to!

Idea. How big is the baby section in Woodbine? How hard would it be to do a ransom audit of some of the graves in BST's vicinity to see if any of those infants and children, born prior to 1988, had their identity 'ghosted' as well?

If FLEK used a broker, then maybe her intermidiary havested from that particular cemetery....and to find a living 'ghost', mind give a trail which leads to FLEK's 1988 source?

I found a few resources. You are right about Janice B. - not at Woodbine. Doesn't mean her I.D. not used though and I don't know how we would find out if it was.

First link is a map of Woodbine. Even shows Babyland. THe other links are to a searchable database for Woodbine. We can probably look through for the deceased babies and then give a list of those to Velling; but I don't see how WE could ever get anywhere with them without his resources.

My other question is....Was the suicide note she wrote for her daughter to read on her 18th birthday ever opened up and read or has it been left for her daughter to open when she is 18?

The letter was opened and read by the family and the investigator. It was mentioned in one of the news paper articles.

Random audit
That would actually be a pretty good idea. If successful it could possibly open up a big can of worms.
I have always believed she used an identity broker. Finding him/her/them would be major!

The reporter said they sent someone to interview them but only the younger son was home and he didn't know anything AND it was NOT followed up on! I always thought this was a good lead. Someone did research some of it I think ClaireNC did. There was someone that lived just a couple of doors over that sparked attention. Also I believe the detective stated there was some suspicion there?! I wish I had time or resources to follow this!! I do believe this is a good direction to go

With federal LE Velling would not interview out of state. They send a request to the agent assigned to that area, so they would not really be as invested in the info...IMO, they have their own cases to work..

Ran all the kim L. names and Barker names through woodbine on findagrave. Nothing.

I love this idea but I don't think we have the resources to do that (access to social security database). Velling would have to do this.

I looked through 1/4 of findagrave's online listing for Woodbine. So far, I have about 16 names if anyone is interested in dividing and conquering?

Herstory I can do maybe 2.. Classes started back yesterday :( I have a little time before it gets crazy
