So interestingly enough, today my office (which is part of a government agency) received a public information request. I thought that the requestor had to make their identity known but apparently I was wrong, you can make a request via an anonymous email address and not even give your name or any personal info. So absolutely anyone could’ve made the request for info about LEK.

Now you do have to show identification, years ago you didn't. My friend and I just got our birth certificates by walking in and asking. No ID needed.

I was looking over the timeline once again and wondering why she had a mail drop box in Boulder City, NV that forwarded her mail to Dallas. In our discussions on here I haven’t seen much speculation as to why she would have a mail dropbox in that area. Was she from there? Lived there for awhile?

Not sure about why she did anything, but if FLEK does have a connection to C.C. Stalder and Gerald J. Stalder, then it might explain why she had the drop box in a city in Clark County. Both Stalders had lived or been in Clark County Nevada. To refresh everyone's memory, C.C. Stalder had the writing style that matched the signature on FLEK's Oriental Hotel reference letter.
I wish I could contact G. Stalder and ask him if he knew her or had any memory of her. There's a list of people I'd love to contact, but I'm scared of invading their privacy with all the questions I have.

Timothy P. Hoban lived in Boulder City. I had better luck tracking his wife. She lived in Boulder City, Los Angeles, and Tempe Arizona.

Oops, sorry I misread your original post in my response on my post #261. It would seem that to request info from the gov agency you would give your name, who would think you could do it my anonymous email?

BTW, look up K4thryn Ke4ts bio. What a story! Makes me wonder if M4rys4 M4sl4nsky owner of Visage rps had a soft spot for women on the run? Both Ke4ts and St4lder had reasons to think they would be killed. At one time I found 688-7092 "library" as the makeup and production line at Visage. I can't find it now...keep your eyes open. Thanks!

For those of us looking into the Eric A King / Lorene connection I have sourced a obituary for Eric, - no children mentioned so back to the drawing board perhaps!

I think visages was a different phone number than what you recall:

What if LEK is Eric King’s daughter and she made her parent’s names part of her new identity? Lori = Lorene King (her mother) Erica = Eric King (her father) Kennedy = King (similar last name)

This might also explain why no one recognizes her from the news articles done about her, her family is back in Ireland.

What I recall was a photography/agent directory. Not the photo stock library. Had the Visage main number AND the makeup and production line. I will try and find it again : ) the page had a green background and it was a different LA prefix not 323.

Was it the 213 prefix?

I do keep going back to her affinity for tea parties and teapots and think of Ireland, London, and mostly that she may have been raised by an older family member who shared this affinity with her.

Do we know Lorene's middle initial or middle name? AND, do we know her maiden name?

Nvm. Found my own answer in these old posts.

Hello! My name is William, from London. Since yesterday, when I first became aware of this case, I've caught the sleuthing bug and, after a few hours, I believe I may have found Jane Doe's family. It's certainly a bit of a long shot.

My theory is that Jane Doe is the daughter of Eric Alexander King and Lorene May Wadleigh. Intuitively, I thought that there was something off-colour about the name 'Lori Erica Kennedy', as if some sort of answer lay there, hidden in plain sight. My first thought was that it signified something from her past, perhaps a play on words. I also did not believe that Jane knowing about Becky Sue Turner was the result of travelling across states and hours spent mining public records; I imagined something more mundane: she knew about Turner because she lived in the same area as the cemetery. Finding a post (http://www.websleuths.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-215630.html) on here, from 2013 (by neesaki), where an Eric A. King is mentioned, only encouraged this idea. His tragic death was also interesting, fitting with the possible tragic background of our Jane Doe. So, after performing searches on ancestry.co.uk, I found these two individuals ("Eric A. K..." and "Lorene"). Here are the facts as I know them:

1) Eric Alexander King was allegedly a stockbroker from Rathdown, near Dublin, Ireland. He was born on 25 September 1936, had an older brother named Malcolm, and married Lorene May Wadleigh (daughter of Donald Jacques Wadleigh and Mildred Lorene Canfield) on 1st July 1961 in Seattle, Washington. His death, which occured in Sumner, was purportedly a suicide. I would like to read his obituary because it may hold some clues, or direct statements, about his life, his family, any children he may or may not have had, and the reason for his suicide. But Tacoma Public Library does not let anyone access these obituaries anymore. It directs me to the WA State Library, whose Borrowing & Lending Office I've emailed. Hopefully, I'll receive a reply (and maybe a copy) soon.

2) Eric was naturalized as an American on 1st May 1985. At the time of his naturalization, he, and presumably his wife, lived at 1530 Vista Drive Southeast, Puyallup (near Tacoma), which Google informs me is 2.9-3 miles away from Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, where Becky Sue Turner is buried. Lorene continued to live in the area of Tacoma until the early 90s. She later remarried after Eric's death.

3) Lorene was born 26 October 1937 in Kansas. She lived in Seattle and Auburn (not simultaneously) in the 90s. The name "Lori" can be used as a diminutive form of Lorene. The witnesses to Lorene and Eric's marriage were Malcolm J. King and Judith Richardson.

At this point, I do not know if they had any children. Ancestry.com (and .co.uk) has not made California Births for the 1960s publicly available. I would have to order a birth certificate from the Washington State Department of Health, but I don't know if the protocol for ordering certificates is different in the US to how it is in the UK. I believe it's worth a look, given the similarity of the names, the timing of the marriage in 1961 (if they had children soon or sometime afterwards, it would suit Jane Doe's approximate age) and the close proximity that Eric and presumably Lorene's residence had to Woodbine Cemetery.

I looked on Peoplefinders.com and see that Lorene May who is connected to Eric A King remarried a William Wilkinson and she is connected to Melissa (Missy) King, all in Seattle area. Melissa has a Facebook page.

Yes, I saw that too, but I wondered if it would be inappropriate to post it, so I omitted her husband's surname. I always worry about treading on other people's privacy. It's very easy to do if you're a genealogist.

Apologies. I neglected to mention, for those who cannot access the ancestry.co.uk transcript, that Eric's death took place on 19th December 1988.

I performed a peoplefinders search for Malcolm J. Kings born in 1935 - Malcolm J., Eric's brother, was born in 1935 in Rathdown and was a witness at Eric and Lorene's wedding - and the name "Lori" turns up again (spelt "Lorie").

http://www.peoplefinders.com/search...n=J&city=&state=&age=&dobmm=&dobdd=&doby=1935

EDIT: Found out that the appearance of the name "Lorie" is probably a coincidence (she's a possible daughter-in-law). I'm not even sure if it's the right Malcolm J. King now. I'll leave it for you to judge more adequately...

This is a rehashing of what was previously given in June of 2013 on another thread. I just wonder if Sheri Lynne Johnson might be the one who is also involved in other theories that people are now discussing. It would seem that Sheri Lynne could have ended up in an alternate community such as Bountiful. As well there could be a Sheri Lynne connection to the actual Becky Sue Turner.

Sheri Lynne Johnson was suggested in June of 2013 as a possible candidate for FLEK.

Sheri Lynne Johnson went missing in 1974. There are indications that she was taken by her father. The whole family with the father, the mother, son, and daughter went missing. The mother's clothes were left behind. They went missing from Jackson County, Missouri. Jackson is one of the clues in the notes.

The man who sought medical help in Texas and died of a heart attack without proper identification bore a great resemblance to Henry Lee Harbison (aka Henry Johnson). He had several pieces of identitification on him, one of which was for Peter Turner. The name of Peter Turner was given as a name for Becky Sue Turner when she applied for her birth certificate.

You can check out the websites that I have listed below, that I got from websleuths.
The website below was given on a thread in June of 2013. It basically talks about how Sherry Lynne Johnson went missing along with other members of her family including her father, mother, and brother.

This website deals with a possible but unidentified Henry Lee Harbison, who died in Texas in 2005, with finger printer prints that seem to have been deliberately obliterated.

This looks really good. So did Sheri Lynne's father run off with his kids and raise them or give them off to someone else? Maybe a family member. I think he killed his wife and ran off (JMO).

Was Henry Lee Harbison ever facing a 402 month prison sentence?

Henry Lee Harbison went missing at the same time as his family. I personally think that he went to great lengths to erase his identity and go with the false identies, in some kind of marginal existence, beyond the scope of law enforcement. That is why the profile of this discovered man seems to suit him.

I wonder about those photo agings and whether the project photo of what a person will look like in 20 years is actually very close to reality.

How can a whole family just go missing like that? It's a real mystery. We can see one person going missing, but a whole family.

I noticed there's DNA on namus for Sheri Lynn. Would that be an auto rule out then?
