Police seeking public’s help in locating man missing from Tyler

Family of missing 21-year-old Tyler man: 'We feel like we're still at Day 1'

Tyler Police Department investigators are continuing their efforts to get “everything they can” in the case of missing 21-year-old Marcus Daniel Rodriguez, who was last seen Dec. 23 at the Palomar Apartments on Old Jacksonville Highway.

Family members of Rodriguez, father of two, said he was at the apartment complex gathered at a party, most likely with friends his age.

I know the family says there is no way Marcus would willingly abandon his family...but the fact is, he had two children and a sick wife at the young age of 21. Even a person who loves his family might feel overwhelmed by those circumstances and reach a breaking point where he just had to get away for a bit.

Marcus Daniel Rodriguez was last seen at a party at an acquaintance's apartment on December 24, 2021, at 2:30 a.m. Marcus was last seen wearing blue drawstring shorts, blue shirt with red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren logo imprinted on top, a silver necklace with a silver and gold colored circle medallion. He was seen standing by his car in the parking lot of the apartment complex and is believed to have his wallet, but no other belongings. Marcus possibly left on foot or was picked up by an unknown person.
