Thanks for taking the time to reply with the answers you can! Hugs.

You’re welcome! Thanks for taking the time to visit my friends thread. It is a comfort to know there are people out there concerned about missing and murdered people. They could easily be forgotten. :(

Oh no [emoji20] do you know if he had any stressors in life currently, or anything that would cause him to choose to take a breather? Also, any info about what time he was due to show up to work? I’m so sorry for you and your friend.

I believe the most helpful things to look at is what makes the day he went missing different than any other day.

Meeting at work? Cancelled meeting at work? Etc.

We are creatures of habit and we have routines. When we deviate there’s a reason.

someone upthread asked about the VIN number on the truck and what the mileage is. I am curious why that information would help in a case like this? Unless there was a truck found and someone would need to make a comparison to verify if it was the same vehicle... but that doesn't sound quite right. I am innocently asking because I don't know. Maybe it is a question we should ask all the time when a person and their car is also missing?

At first, I'll be honest, I thought that post very suspicious. But maybe I am just totally ignorant and missing why that information might help at this point.

Do you know how much money was withdrawn and what he bought at Krogers?

I am wondering the same thing. A large amount might be indicative of a voluntary disappearance.

I wondered why as well. Thanks for asking.

Especially since it was a new users first post. Hmmmmm.

Yes, and also what he may have bought at Kroger's.

Thank you Beth. I don’t know if any of those things. I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago and he seemed in good spirit.

Considering the time he left for work 7-7:30 and the time it takes to travel to Orange I am guessing 8 am. But just a guess.

Was any of this videotaped? At Krogers and/or at the ATM?

Because I was looking for a used 2012 honda ridgeline listed recently. there are a couple on autotrader. You never know.

I think that the timing of the ATM withdrawal (7:30 am) indicates that he intended to go to work. The question is, what happened after that? If it was a large withdrawal, that could suggest robbery at the ATM/ foul play. Otherwise, did he get any calls or texts with bad news around 7:30-8am? Something that would cause him to skip work and head into LA?

Gotcha. Makes sense. Thanks for joining the discussion!

Jumping off my own post with more thoughts:

Was Mobiloil his regular bank?

Did he normally leave for work at 7am?

Was his gas tank empty to where he would have needed gas for the drive to work? How much gas did he get? Was it normal for him to get that much gas (for example I keep my tanks full, so getting $10 in gas would be unusual)?

I think the amount from the ATM would be a big help. If it was a small amount, usual lunch (places that don't take debit) but if large amount then that could mean otherwise. What strikes me odd is he has no cell with him. Everyone this day keeps theirs glued to them.

I never thought I would be posting about a friend. I am speechless. He was last seen yesterday morning. I will message a mod to see what details I can post.

I see he's originally from Chatham, Ontario. How long has he been in the US? Would he go back to Canada? Did he have a passport and if so, is it missing?

He doesn’t have his cell phones as in they are accounted for? Or just not answering?

Have the casino parking lots been checked for his vehicle? That would require driving back into LA but it may be a good spot to ditch a vehicle and not have it stand out. Was the plate scanned on I-10 or Hwy 90 or some other route? I don’t know the tollways around Beaumont.

last seen at the ATM and now missing. I am thinking foul play, sadly, and hope I am wrong and he is safe, chillin...
