Dr. P asks to see the car.....MC admits he (and his brother?) cleaned out car and got all extra stuff out of it....

Mc - there is some truth on those phones and hard drives in the Apt.
She knows how to find us.....her family knows ......there is nothing hidden at all...

Dr. P - less than 48 hrs after Dr. P left his home - producer got a text from Mark saying "I confessed I killed her" called from Houston PD.....we were fighting and she was slapping and I struck out and her neck snapped and we fell on the bed and that was it - it was over.....child came into the room . . . Mark covered up......he wrapped her up in a blanket and put her head in trash bag so He wouldn't have to look @ her.....

He put her in a oil rig buried it an covered it up with sand.....sorryI lied to you - little things like that sometimes bother me.....I wanted you all to call me back - I just couldn't stand the lying anymore - that is what she was doing....she is not buried very deep - not hidden very well.

Mark said he did think about confessing to Dr. P...but he said "I didn't hurt her at all" at the time......He was so calm......

Mark said his son will be better off . . . without his Mother and FAther...."he may not like it but he will be better off".

Lovin the jinx Cocomod.... it always helps to have 2 posters giving the highlights - for all those things I often miss (or get wrong)!

This will be one of the last days I will get to do this (I start my new job Monday)

Before, when he was telling his fake story on Dr. Phil, he had a creepy smile, like it was funny. What an evil man!

Michelle's family met with Dr. P . . . . he says so sorry, beyond terrible......

They found out as soon as they got to LAX - got phone call from LE that MC had confessed - they didn't want to disclose location of the body....family members were on the plane.

Dr. P - didn't like what he was hearing ....forensic psychology training ..... you snapped and wound up seriously injured or dead....he still blames her - always and still the "victim". Last time family saw her she got to see new baby (of sister?)....Mom didn't like Mark - narcissistic - in a strong way....something neurally or psychologically not right - he tried to kill self previously

Hands down . . . one of the most "creepy" interviews I have ever seen! This guy makes my skin crawl!!!!

Michelle's family boarded plane to LA - she was on missing persons list but upon touch down - it turned into homocide investigation.

Dr. P had bells going off . .. he didn't confess to Dr. P....

"She took a swing at me - she missed, I fell foward - her neck popped, it happened so fast.....I couldn't do it again if I had to.....put her into container - I am weak slid it down the stairs.....big container got at walmart....I kept thinking of Cayden while driving to Odessa....I I didn't even think about her in the back seat......What is happening to Cayden . . . worry about he is going to be in daycare and in therapy . . . .

(Mom?) was stunned by no emotion in voice of Mark...
**I am not sure who the blonde woman is - very young looking mother of Michelle or her sister or aunt????

Cayden saw her foot sticking out ....I said Mommy was sleeping..... I moved her to the closet... I realized this would be tough, she was heavy, she is buried...she covered up to a point....but not buried buried...

You can tell (her family) all of it....at same time my little boy was being abused.....

Dr. P - he said she was an abusive mother with her kids....

Michelle's family wants Cayden......not surprised by his confession - this is horrible to hear but not surprising....

Dr. Phil explains family is calm because they began grief process when she was reported missing

Mark behind bars on $150K bond....Michelle's family wants him convicted in murder and he should be executed....Mark said he wants to be execute d....wants him hung if he snapped her neck.....hopes he thinks about her every day of rest of his life....

Michelle's Brother - David....been closest friend as long as he can remember -

gonna miss her laugh, pretty smile, pretty voice.....

Dr. P reaches out to offer help to Michelle's family to help them get thru this.

Does anyone know who is raising Michelle's son Cayden? He has been through so much and Michelle's mom seems like the best to raise him or Michelle's brother. Both seem very loving so I hope that they will get custody of this precious little guy.

I don't know specifically who has Cayden right now, but my understanding is that he is with Michelle's family.

I can't see anyone from Castellano's family getting custody.

I watched the Dr. Phil interview today and he was WAY too unemotional and calm. It was actually really creepy.

Judging from what was on Dr. Phil, Michelle's brother said he wanted to take in Cayden. I would love to know the answer to this too. I fear for Cayden, having been through so much at such a young and impressionable age. From experience, horrible things that happened around you when you were a child, eventually catches up with you when you reach your teens. I almost forgot about Michelle's other child too. I noticed that her other daughter was barely mentioned. I am assuming she lives with her bio dad?? I wonder why, just curious.

Yes, the bio father has custody of Michelle's daughter.

Some indications as to why can be found in the Harris County District Court records in the Family Court and Criminal Court.

It is so sad to see she was just there posting, alive, breathing, well, really only days ago.

I also find it ironic that one of her last activities on FB was to "like" the Dr. Phil show.

I thought this was a victim friendly forum? If you have something constructive to add, please do. Where do you think Michelle could be? Where should law enforcement look? In my honest opinion, trashing Michelle is not helping to find her. Again, moo.

Thank you. It was totally trashing. I won't repeat what was said but it was trashing, IMO and an attempt to deflect from what this creep did until the news got out and made it impossible to deflect anymore.

just playing devil's advocate here:

How would we feel if the wife killed the husband and claimed that he had been abusing her, etc? Would we be as harsh: Why didn't she just leave?

I am not saying that he should be let off by any means. I am just saying- IF he can prove he was abused by her, do you think his sentence should be lessened (like they have done in some situations when the wife was abused)

I think any intimation that he was the one abused is nonsensical garbage. 1) He outweighs her by far. 2) He had a place to go (as we can see by where he fled after he killed Michelle) and failed to do so (and he did not seek custody of the child he claims she was abusing) 3) He states the little boy came into the room and saw his mother's body lying there. In cases of Domestic violence, kids at that age usually come in the moment they hear screaming or hitting. So why did the child come in AFTER the mother was supposedly hitting the father? I believe this was a sudden, unprovoked attack and the child came in the moment he heard the mother cry out 4) He murdered her. Not the other way around. The abusers are statistically and overwhelmingly the ones who murder, not the victims. 5) He came across as a narcissistic, sociopathic monster on t.v.No remorse.

He's no victim. :twocents:

As of 3 days ago, the little boy was still with the disgusting, creepy murderer's family in Odessa: http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8830670

I believe he should immediately go to the mother's family. Immediately. Apparently, he had told several people what he did. I bet they were family members. But they failed to turn him in. That baby shouldn't be raised by such people.

ETA:

I thought I read that about him telling people what he had done but I can't find it. Regardless, I believe the child should be with her family, not his.

Cayden being with them is not what I wanted to hear. I don't like that at all, not one bit. This especially bothers me because during the interview on Dr. Phil, MC said his cousin? (correct me if I'm wrong) was doing something with his computer hardware. There's also been word that MC's brother helped him clean out her car, after he "buried" the body. To me, it just sounds hinky that two of his family members were "assisting" him in odd ways, right after the murder. Of course, this is all MOO, they very well could be great people, with good morals and had no idea of what went down.

My error then. I thought I had read that the son was with her family.

PENAL CODE

TITLE 5. OFFENSES AGAINST THE PERSON

CHAPTER 19. CRIMINAL HOMICIDE

Sec. 19.01. TYPES OF CRIMINAL HOMICIDE. (a) A person commits criminal homicide if he intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence causes the death of an individual.
(b) Criminal homicide is murder, capital murder, manslaughter, or criminally negligent homicide.

http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/PE/htm/PE.19.htm

Castellano is charged with Sec. 19.02. MURDER. The specifics of each type of charge can be seen at the link.

Even IF he can convince a jury that she struck out first in this instance, deadly force (such as choking a person) is only justifiable as a means of self-defense if a person reasonably believes that their life is in jeopardy.

From what has been reported of his own words, there is no indication that he had any reasonable belief that he was in mortal danger.

Additionally, I don't think the prosecutors will have a difficult time getting a murder conviction. Again, that is from what has been reported.

MOO.

I also have major concerns regarding the cause of death. If he broke her neck (and one article did state that appeared to be truthful) why would he need to use bleach on the carpet? I have read that it was 2 spots in the bedroom and hall; then, I also read that it was all the way from the bedroom to the front door ... I have no idea which is correct.

It really bothers me that LE says there were no signs of foul play in the apartment or car. I apologize in advance for being graphic; but, there would be decomposition fluids in that home and car even from only being there a few hours. Perhaps the bleach was used to cover up decomposition fluids? I certainly hope LE is doing a better job than I fear. I'm going to be extremely angry if they didn't do all they could simply because of her past. No matter what she has ever done, she did not deserve that. Now she deserves swift, unmerciful justice.

I really hate that she is being dragged through the mud over her past. Some people can beat their past and start over. Just look at Dr. Phil's star former guest Brandon. All the ex did was drag her reputation through the mud while claiming that was done to him.

I think this guy has serious mental issues just from his behavior on the show MOO. He certainly had absolutely 0% remorse. He couldn't even fake proper emotions during the interview. It's frightening how spot on Dr. Phil was w/ his theory of what might have happened.

If you noticed, in the Dr. Phil Interview, he stated "there's some truth somewhere in that apartment, there's some truth somewhere on one of those phones, and maybe on one of those hard drives. If they would really take a look, they might actually find exactly where she, where she is". Does that sound familiar to anyone? I wonder if one of those hard drives contains a map search for the location he buried her?

I really hope her family can get custody of that precious child. This guy should never be allowed to interact w/ that child ever again. God only knows just how much that child does know. At that age, it is possible he will remember some things. Who knows what info his family is feeding the child as well.

I am all for the death penalty; but, hearing him say he didn't want to live the rest of his life in prison makes me ALMOST hope that's exactly what he gets.

I just finished watching Dr. Phil.

I got chills when he was showing Dr. Phil the car and he kept running his hands through his hair; I thought he was going to totally lose it. Everything was about him. He had nothing good to say about Michelle; not even concern....what a .

Oh, my....her poor family. I was so proud of them, for meeting with Dr. Phil and going on national tv after they had received the news of his confession and Michelle's death. What a loving and caring family. I don't know where they got their strength but I so admire them and my heart breaks for them and her children.

Thank God Texas has the death penalty.

R.I.P., Michelle.....may you soar with angels...

.
Respectively snipped by me.

This was in response to my earlier quote where I played "devil's advocate" and I am just going to use your response as jump off position.
I would just like to make it clear that I don't believe he is a victim, either. At the time I wrote that, I had not heard all the new info coming in about this creep.
My post was mainly to point out (and somewhat OT so I have to apologize for that) how male domestic violence victims are often made fun of and treated differently that female DV victims.
At this point, we obviously know that he isn't right in the head.
