I wonder, and don't know the specifics, if she was tracking Mo's movements via the Strata app so learned she was staying at the Cash rental, <snip> How long had KA been scoping it out?
Most people use Strava to track athletic events, like bike rides, but not their every movement. If MW had started and ended a bike ride earlier that day at that location, it's quite possible KA could have found that. This seems plausible since her bike was found there. But I wouldn't expect that MW was using Strava to track her dinner with, and motorcycle ride home with, CS. MOO

FWIW Strava has a feature to hide your start/stop points within a given radius. I think they added this because bike thieves were using Strava to locate where owners of high value bikes lived. But I really don't think MW would have used this setting for somewhere she was only staying for a few days.

It is eerie to think that MW’s friend could easily have been home at that time or come back unexpectedly while the killer was still there.

I noticed in the article below it quotes a male cyclist friend of MW’s who says he was supposed to be staying at the same friend’s house but had a last minute change of plans.

We also now know how MW met CS. From the article:

Moriah had worked hard to connect within the industry and had picked up sponsors such as Specialized, Skratch Labs, TheFeed, and The Meteor Café.

“About a year ago she had coffee with [pro cyclist] Colin Strickland to talk about how to get sponsors,” recalls her mother. Strickland was sponsored by Red Bull. The Meteor, a bike café with locations in Bentonville, Ark. and Austin, Tx., sponsored them both.

Moriah had recently made the decision to leave her job with Specialized and devote herself full-time to cycling. “She’d moved all her things back to Vermont and had this idea that she’d like to start a gathering place for cyclists, like the Meteor, with good local food, a place where a community could gather,” said Karen.

If only MW had known how fatal this connection would turn out to be. :(

Maybe KA used one of those Apple AirTags. Evidently, they are being used to stalk people. Stalkers attach them to cars they want to track, and throw them into people's bags.

KA could have attached one to CS's motorbike. She'd know the exact moment when MW got dropped off.

She could also have attached one to MW.

This would certainly explain how her timing managed to be so precise.

It's not implausible that someone suspecting their SO of cheating would put an AirTag on them. I've heard of people watching their SO's movements on apps regularly used by parents to keep track of their children (Life360 is an example) because they don't trust their SO. AirTags can be hit-or-miss for tracking, though, because now they're easy to locate and disable. If MW or CS had iPhones, they would be notified of the AirTag (from the first article linked). IMO, though, if KA had access to CS's phone (regardless of what type) she could bypass the anti-stalking features. KA could have tracked MW or CS's locations on apple's find my friends or the map feature of Snapchat also, but both of those require the person hypothetically being tracked to willingly share that information.
All IMO, of course.

This was another piece of the puzzle about potential stalking (article is from May 26):

A neighbor, who asked not to be named, told how her home security cameras caught Armstrong's black Jeep Cherokee driving up to the property, which sits above a garage at the back of a larger home, at 8.35pm.
She also told DailyMail.com that Armstrong had been caught on camera the previous day, riding a bike in the same spot.

KA has to have been somewhere all of these 27 days since she was dropped off in New Jersey at the Newark Liberty International Airport.

That’s 27 days of eating, sleeping, showering, changing clothes, perhaps traveling. There must be a way she’s accessing money to support all of these essential activities for nearly a month. Whether in the US or outside of it, with help or alone, she’s managing to continue on as a fugitive wanted for capital murder.

Frankly, I never expected her to be able to evade capture this long.

I hope now that her case has been upgraded to major status, the extra resources mean that no stone will be left unturned.

Wondering what these 70 Tips were about, who they were from:

Thanks. I hadn’t heard that bolded part before!

Question - If LE found the two known guns at KA’s residence, why do they think she’s now armed and dangerous?

(Apologies in advance if this has already been asked and answered.)
The only thing I can think of is that :

1. knowing she committed homicide with a firearm, she’s proven to know how to use a firearm and that she is willing to shoot another person, whether MW or a LE agent attempting to apprehend her.

2. In the NYC area guns can be bought illegally, anonymously, and cheaply on the streets.

3. They may be trying to scare her:
- no one will want to help you if you’re armed and dangerous
- LE may have to have a shootout with you, so you’d better turn yourself in before it comes to that.

Are any of the upscale motor homes (or even one not upgraded yet) that KA and CS renovate unaccounted for?
As in, set it and forget it for later? Could KA have done a big fake out to get to a stationary place tucked somewhere?
Or was there help in situating one somewhere?

An interesting question, but wouldn’t she have to lease land or a lot, and sign papers ( unless someone could do it for her. But very risky if done after May 18 when the warrant was out).

If she planned this ahead, she could have scoped out land just about anywhere.

ETA: Does the Jeep Cherokee have a tow hitch?
Probably. But would she have used a vehicle being sought by US Marshals? Or do you envision her doing it way ahead of the murder? I suppose months of premeditation may have gone into this, but I’m not sure….

I do suspect much premeditation.
Purchasing the guns could have been one of the first steps.
The Cherokee may have been dumped by now. Or stolen plate switch.
For all we know, K could be also be moving from Walmart parking lot to lot.
She will run until the inevitable.
IMO, she and CS are full of themselves.

But this would mean she expected the bicycle burglary ruse to fail, and to be caught and charged with murder, and to have to go on the run. I would think she wanted MW out of the picture, and to stay with CS in Austin.

Ok, but right now she’s the one charged with first degree murder, and he’s in the clear….
I think she may have expected to catch the two of them together at the apartment. When CS just dropped off MW, without coming in himself, it foiled that plan and so she went with shooting MW and trying the bicycle ruse. Keep in mind that CS is allegedly hiding out from KA now too.
