None of this is 100% confirmed anywhere just things I have heard, being somewhat local.....

That is exactly what I was thinking when I seen that court case. Someone here said that an organization like that makes a good amount of money, what does it go to? What if money was unaccounted for somehow? Is that even a possibility? I believe but not positive, from what I heard today, his phone last pinged near persimmon hill and brand rd in bulverde. That could be wrong and definitely isn't 100% fact. The Wal-Mart that was the location for the search headquarters today is about 5 miles from that location. I also heard that LE was searching heavily around that intersection.

I do somewhat know the area and I can tell you, a search and rescue groups truly needs to be called in. There are acres and acres, upon acres of wooded land out where it was said the last ping was. Not sure if I can say what I heard today, " if not mod, pleaseee edit this for me and I am sorry again" but I heard that family had searched the state park out that way.... numerous times, definitely not fact either. They are unsure if and when the next search will happen. I heard they may have found some stuff on the search today, but, are unsure if the items are even related...not sure what the items were.
Hi, does anyone know what the lawsuit involves? I see it involves Mccallister Little League. Could there be missing money? So little information being released. Wouldn't the PD ping his phone?

I agree. I am also very familiar with the area. It's ranchland for the most part. Lots of brush, trees, drainage culverts (caliche), trees, tall grasses, hills, etc. And likely snakes because they've been heavy this year.

I can personally vouch for snakes (at least rattlesnakes) being heavy this year. Don't ask me how I know, but it involves a school field trip and a near death experience.:scared:

Anyway, all of this to say that searchers should be very careful in the terrain here and in the heat.

I am a former NEISD employee. Scott is an Instructional Technology specialist for the district. This means he floats between a couple of schools and will not be listed in a specific campus directory but is currently listed on the NEISD Instructional Technology staff page.

When you search scott mayer neisd and you click on the cached page, it shows a Scott Mayer who is an English teacher -- is that a different person?

My other thought (since he's IT) is it's a test page he made up with fake info when developing the staff directory.

Does it have a specific school name and if so what is it?
***editing to add that I did the same search and I see that the school name is listed as Sunny Side Middle School. Is that what you saw at the top? If so, I’m thinking it probably is a test page since there is no such school in NEISD. Here’s a list of all the neisd schools: https://www.neisd.net/domain/136

Looking at Bexar property tax info (not Comal as I wrongly posted a few minutes ago) it appears that taxes are paid and up to date at this time. As for the lawsuit, the word "premises" was mentioned and I Googled that and most of the results showed that it could be something pertaining to someone getting injured on the property. Which, it appears to be McAllister Little League property and Mayer's players were possibly playing there? I hope and pray that he is safe and found soon.

I have a baseball organization knowledge... we always have parents sign or acknowledge if via internet sign up when they register. Basically kids get hurt often during baseball and we have verbiage that we don't hold the coaches, other players and park (list) harmless and will not sue the parties involved. Our org did have insurance. Sorry can't remember exact verbiage

Was there an impropriety w a team member or something along those lines that would hv forced a law suit? I can't shake the feeling he fled. Were there upcoming court dates or any charges he was facing?

The case(s) looked to be civil to me. I didn't see any (publicized) criminal charges pending.

It appears he was pretty dedicated to those ball fields. He was there every weekend all weekend from what reports say as well as weeknights. Seems more like a 2nd full-time job to me.

Read on FB this morning they are looking into a possible lead from last Friday. Someone fitting his description wearing a Johnson HS shirt was seen buying things at a local pharmacy. Apparently made comment about going to family members to watch the Kentucky Derby. The brother confirmed on Fb post this is one of the leads the law enforcement looking in to.

I hope pharmacy has CCTV

500 volunteers search for missing father, baseball coach

There was a massive search for a missing father that lasted about five hours on Wednesday.

[...]

The search was at the Walmart in Bulverde off Highway 281 and 46. According to the family, that area was the last spot they got a ping from Mayer's cellphone. Bexar County Sheriff Investigators told KENS 5 they used a DPS chopper and followed plenty of leads on Tuesday, but so far, found nothing.

[...]

Search advocate Frank Trevino said the area they searched was massive.

"About a 40 to 45-mile trek," he said. "So, it is pretty extensive. And within that 40-mile range there is quite a number of off-roads, and parks."

And he reportedly was seen leaving work the day he went missing at about 2. If he lost his job, was delinquent in taxes and his business was being sued..I think I know how this ends. Hope I'm wrong though.

I hadn't seen info on him losing his job. Link? Also, did anything in any court documents say he was delinquent with taxes? Sorry if I missed this.

“‘CIVIL DOCKET’

A civil case, unlike a criminal case, does not depend on the number of persons involved. Instead, each separate suit, normally commenced by the filing of the plaintiff’s original petition, defines an individual civil case.

The case type categories are:

INJURY OR DAMAGE—MOTOR VEHICLE: All cases for damages associated in any way with a motor vehicle (automobile, truck, motorcycle, etc.), with or without accompanying personal injury. Examples include personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death cases that involve motor vehicles.

OTHER INJURY OR DAMAGE: All other cases alleging an injury or wrong committed against a person, their reputation, or their property by a party who either did something that he was obligated not to do or failed to do something that he was obligated to do. Examples include damages on premises, “slip-and-fall” cases, construction damages, assault, battery, animal attack, vandalism, slander/libel/defamation, malicious prosecution, and false imprisonment.

The post I was replying to stated that he was no longer listed in the staff directory at his employer. This has since been cleared up with other links above (and found to be inaccurate). And yes... Public records do show him delinquent in taxes.

I'm confused? Message 67 in this string indicates that taxes are all paid, however, the link above appears to be court action for unpaid 2016 taxes.

have they checked bodies of water and or embankments where a car can be easily hid?
