If we really wanted to go out on a limb, we could even hypothesize that the person may have been instrumental in getting her hired to teach the class at the church. They knew there was an early class opening up, knew the church was having trouble with their outside surveillance cameras, knew she'd be there before anyone else was arriving and all alone...

I have to disagree about them getting her to do it at this location for a specific reason. considering I did CG and have lots of friends that are trainers both new and long term. They have TONS of locations around DFW and meet at tons at churches as well. One of their mottos is "take it outdoors" so they try and find places that are big Parking lots that they have plenty of room to spread out in and they actually meet at my local church too. But, at every location, they had an alternative if it was pouring rain/snowing etc..

Lots of stuff going on with that vehicle. Check out the video (frames) marker 1:00 to 1:01 - slow speed .25 - for example. Something comes flying on the dashboard. From another person?

That's possible. Notice how they stop right after that. Although when I watched it the first few hundred times, I just assumed they were stopping to see if the car passing by might enter, but if something was thrown onto the dash, maybe they were slowing down to get whatever was thrown up there..

With so many gun store robberies in the past several months, it would seem to be a huge red flag to police to see a car driving slowly around a huge gun store with its lights off at 2 am. Did they even know this was a gun store?

First. if you look at the MPD video in slow motion.. I may be behind on this but if you put it on slow speed. When the Suspect hits the window to the door across the hallway watch the video at 2:04 hits door and 2:05 the video shakes???
Also, that is a door and if you look you can see the Suspect put hand on door frame and step into the room. 2:10 mark


JMHO, and I also believe that is 1 0 not 1 2 (now) the curve is what keeps catching my eye.

Between 2012 and 2016 there was def some remodeling done. The SW doors that MB entered looked different then compared to April 18, 2016.

Very helpful info. I had forgotten she had to bring this indoors because of the rain.

Does anyone know where she would normally have held this class had it not been raining?

How long in advance were meteorologists predicting rain Monday morning that would have caused the class to be held indoors? I know she did not give notice until Sunday night that it was a definite they would e holding it in the church, but if the weather had been predicting it for a week (rare they get it right that far in advance, but sometimes they get lucky) they may have been tentatively planning for it. Or, they had planned all along to do this at her outdoor location and had to scramble at the last minute (though that's unusual - why not just wait until the next class and hope for better weather).

I have wondered how she made it to her room without seeing any of the broken windows or other damage - that would have made me suspect something wrong going on and I would have left to call the police. So I'm assuming the person breaking windows knew where she would be going and made sure not to damage anything near that area to alert her?

Maybe, I don't know. BUT why did the car "occupant" know s/he wouldn't be recognized (changing clothes) on surveillance video if enhanced/zoomed in by gun shop owners/LE? Insider knowledge of video quality - who would have it?? Who would know that an illuminated parking lot wouldn't help the identification?

Any why would he/she/they get ready at 2 am when they didn't enter the church until 4? They are just going to drive around for 2 hours praying they don't get noticed or pulled over by police?

They never cancel CG unless it's because of ice and roads are impassible. It's not uncommon for her to move it inside the church. She was going to host camp st the church that morning it was just a matter of whether it was inside or out. The trainers will modify the workouts to fit whichever venue they're at

I can't remember if it's allowed or not so sorry mods...but, if you look on her FB from previous posts, you can see they didn't work out in a classroom. Each week of CG Is a different theme, so some require less space than others. For instance week 1 you run a lot more than you do in week 2 which is functional week...at least that's what it was when I did it, can't remember exact terminology..

I also think the SP knew the husband would be out of town. Why is that important? I think the SP didn't want the husband to be suspected. It's someone who, for whatever reason, wanted to make sure husband had an alibi.

Who would care so much about that? You'd think if you're murdering someone, you'd love to have another person be suspected. Husbands are always the first to be investigated when a wife is killed, but this perp made sure the husband was away.

As far as the car turning the blinker on when they leave parking lot...police will find any reason to pull over a suspicious car...and no blinker is a great reason. I think they were trying to cover themselves to ensure IF someone was around, they wouldn't get pulled over. JMO and I'm not even about to speculate the reason they were there..I think it's a rabbit chase that we'll never know until an arrest is made.

IMO police aren't going to say "hey we think Jane is suspicious and are watching her every move for past 9mo. Waiting for her to bust." JMO They're going to make perp think they got away with it and are free and clear as they watch them like a hawk. JMO

Tonight's weather reminds me of the horrible rain we had back when this happened...IMO there's no way in h3!! I would leave my house in this crap, much less at 4a (or in that range) ...I can't figure out how perp isn't soaking wet in the video..and it just again to me JMO confirms yet again they wanted her dead no matter what the circumstances.

this post reminded me of the lawyer I worked for and how he loved it when it was raining cause back then you just let the client be found guilty on speeding tickets and appealed. If it was raining all the cops were working traffic accidents and didnt show up to court so all his clients got their tickets tossed. Wonder if the rain made for additional security for the perp knowing cops were probably pre occupied with the weather and car wrecks.

100% agree. IMO it's beyond coincidental that BB was out-of-town. Add to that - BB was going to a place where he thought he could not be reached for a few days. As you said, if someone wanted to frame BB, why would (s)he not kill Missy when BB was home sleeping in bed? There would be no way to independently verify that alibi. However, a fishing trip to another state can easily be "corroborated," especially if one suddenly takes an interest in posting on SM and checking into places....

Given the public SM postings of BB and MB, it would have been extremely easy for SP to ascertain that BB was not going to be in Midlothian on April 18.

I want justice for this family! Given the information that we have, there are too many plausible scenarios... many of which don't involve the family at all, but the above information continues to trouble me.

I finally watched the SWFA video of the Altima. Everyone has made great points about it, thank you for posting.

1. IMO SWFA (and LE) has far better images of the Altima, the driver and the license plate. These are just the images they are releasing, not all the images. I am guessing it had stolen plates from some other silver Altima.

2. In the color film showing the handicap spaces, red truck on 287 at about 2:41... at 2:48 to 2:52 I think that the empty front passenger seat can be seen quite clearly and the headrest. It is light colored and fully evident for several frames.

3. Best I can say about the driver at 2:52 to 2:58 is that I think it is a smaller person with a backpack or a bag of some kind behind them, between them and the seatback.

4. The part where NIN captured what may be the word POLICE on the back of the driver... I am not so sure now that I see where in the video that still originates. That camera is behind SWFA reinforced glass, inside of a window, so that is 4 layers of distortion: camera eye, thick glass window, rain, and then driver's side window.

That's how it looks to me. I will watch it more another time.

I know at least one other person was referring to the fact that they believed the license plate had cursive at the top, which apparently is unique to California.

Newer plates in Louisiana, South Dakota, North Dakota to an extent, have cursive writing on top of their plates (off the top of my head - may be more). But it does eliminate some states, including Texas.

JMO - It looks like it was edited. There's a fairly distinct dark rectangle on the windshield. Take a look from the passenger side all the way over to the middle of the drivers seat and along the dash. I'm not saying or implying that you did it Nin, I'm thinking maybe SWFA degraded the quality of the video/frames before posting it. Paying special attention to limit identification of the license plate and interior of the car.

I support the blue and thank them for the work and dedication. The ones that have been on camera have been articulate, and as concise as I think they could be (they can't reveal too much without jeopardizing the investigation, and I appreciate that.) And I bet they certainly have much more information that the common man; hopefully nearing critical mass.

Having said that. I think we can all agree at a minimum, this does seem to be an educational experience for the MPD.

On the Ellis County CAD, as we have known the Owner shows to be Rolling Hills Church of Christ from Desoto Tx.

Also found an obit of a 14 year old young lady who was from Midlo, but formerly of Desoto, she passed away from caner.
Memorials could be made to Memorials may be made to the Rolling Hills Church of Christ for the "An Angel Remembered Fund" -or to the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, - THEN it hit me! That is what the Creekside Cancer Crushers is about! And the Blood Drive! Carter Blood Drive...

That is what the blue table was in the foyer! That really makes me angry and sad. Because of this murder could be why the table and things in the hallway were moved (DeDee stated all those items were gone when she went in July) But the Race for Life was in June so maybe that is why it was gone?

Another thing Google popped up was a Law Firm. WHY? Well one of the Elders is a Lawyer and he has his various interest/community involvement and listed Creekside Church of Christ Midlothian Tx... So jmho that is another reason anything from the church is zipped down. Especially due to type cases he deals with... one being . I sure he has advised them, whether he is the Creeksides attorney or not he would look out for them jmho. But it did make me :thinking: wonder if he knew they didn't have alarm system or no cameras in the rear or sides of building. Or aware of malfunctioning cameras that they did have on exterior * They do now...as of DeDee visit and her sharing some of her photos.
