I have another left eye pic of the killer - taken from the MPD surveillance and it was while the killer was turning/walking. The shape of the eye is a little distorted...but you can see very short eyelashes and you can even see in the upper right what appears to be dark eyebrow hairs. Very curious....

Neat. Thanks for posting that. Can you tell the eye color?

Imo, if this was a "hit", planned by someone close to her, it can take months for LE to gather and analyze tapes, cell phones, GPS, etc...as we saw in Teresa's case in Florida, which seems the most similar to me. If it was truly random, it may never be solved if video has not helped. I wonder if Midlothian is small enough to determine which cell phones were in that exact area at the time of the crime? It still could be hundreds, or more if the tower is elsewhere, but I think LE has done this before in isolated or smaller-populated areas. Jmo

Neat indeed. imo I too thought suspect had big thick eyebrow.....just wasn't sure...i can definitely see the eye I thought I saw, can you imagine LE imaging tools?!?!

This made me lol because all along I've secretly giggled hoping SP felt stung by the fact that he's quite feminine looking on film and the mass majority of people take him for a lady.

I hope this perp feels offended, insulted and degraded that an adult man, BB, would have the audacity to "forgive" him. I'm sure that's not the fear filled and awe inspired response the perp was seeking. I think BB vocalizing his process of forgiveness had its intended effect.

This sloppy looking little coward is no match for all of the agencies involved and if he/she believes otherwise, he/she is a fool. It may take a little while to solve, but I am confident it will get solved. Don't lose faith, LE has got this!

Wow! Great job. I was wondering though, if you can do that can you do the eyebrows? Those would be awesome to see as well. TIA

Maybe the police department needs to hire you right now lol.. You are exactly on point and logical. That's what I thought too.. Go ahead and track that IP address atleast it would show what computer it is coming from.

It is very easy to use proxies and VPNs to hide your IP address. Given how determined the perp was to hide their identity, they're probably just as determined to cover their tracks online.

Also from last thread (was busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to respond)
Nobody has been ruled out. See news from 20 May.

Quote "Johnson said, and are no longer actively considered suspects, though no one will be definitively ruled out until the case is solved."

Yes, Justice2016, that's why in my post I included the qualifier "all but". That means they're nearly, but not quite, ruled out. My post:

Exactly! At this point, with there being so little info available and no suspects named (but family and friends all but ruled out) it really could be anything.

I wonder if NANCY GRACE INTERNS will graciously credit Websleuths?!?! Long overdue imo.

ODD... Why would even BB not want to.be cleared as a suspect? That's just very weird...

Struck me as odd and narrator mentioned twice!

Yesssss!!!! I'm not on the BB did it train (not that we are allowed a ticket) but I definitely side eyed him for that, twice!! Um, yes you DO want to be cleared. So, that brings me back to strategy and word play. Obviously LE wanted him to think-believe-say that for a reason. No idea what the play is though. The Texas Rangers may actually be baseball players in their spare time. Interesting calls being made. :phone:

Unless something has drastically changed, the person BB/MT suspected was not someone close to them. I think they initially had a person in mind, because one person had a motive (jealousy) and had in some way made MB uncomfortable. I don't know if that is still the case or if that person has been ruled out.

I have a question for those of you who are seasoned "websleuthers." As I said in a previous post, we in town were lead to believe through town gossip that this case would be solved much faster and was already on the way to an arrest. "Police are tying up loose ends to assure an conviction" was a sentence that was repeated so many times it nearly became a mantra. Now it's a month later....and many of us are feeling discouraged. How long do these cases typically take? Years? Is there no way to alert the public if they felt fairly sure that one POI is responsible? I could really use some peace of mind that this case will be solved.

I live where a crime under similar circumstances happened a few years ago...and everyone thinks that LE knows who committed the crime but that the DA would not sanction an arrest due to a lack of solid evidence to stand up in court for a conviction. We often heard that an arrest was imminent; they were waiting on one more lab report, etc. People still talk about it often, but no one knows if/when anymore will become of it. I hope that MB's case will not end up like this. It does seem to take a long time to get all the ground work laid before an arrest. LE wants an airtight case and they work hard to insure this, even though we, the public, want cases solved quickly.

Agreed. I would be highly highly p***** if I had kids and was living in that town. They either have someone in mind or being very selfish to their own community.

Mostly with each day that ticks by without an arrest, I am just more shocked that our schools did not go on lockdown that day if they didn't know exactly who did it. We are a small town and haven't had a murder in a long time, and to me just the fact that it happened and that church isn't terrible far from three schools would be enough. But then when they saw the SP loping around, why the heck didn't someone say, "A person dressed in a costume murdering someone in a church is a little too close to some other things we've seen in news headlines. Let's go ahead and lock down the schools just in case." If I am not mistaken, in mass shootings, often the killer will have one kill off-site before they proceed to the school. Also our schools were in the news a few years ago about a religious kerfuffle with some plaques in the front. (Ironically, the same school who actually was MORE open that day than usual.) To me, it's a no brainer to keep our kids safe. I am nervous about how long it's taking but I know rationally that it's better to take their time...but I am more angry and sickened with each day about how NOTHING was done to take extra precautions for our kids.

It's happened to a couple of friends on mine. Someone snatched a photo from their FB page and used it to create a new account under the same name and sent friend requests. I knew it was fake from the start so I clicked the option to report it to FB. Facebook is often pretty quick to remove these fake accounts. It could be what happened end here. By the time the recipient clicked the button to accept the request, Facebook (or the person who set it up) may have already removed the account. Just one theory.

Especially in this case, as MB facebook is was made a memorial type very soon after the murder.

Agreed. Or just go to your local library and use the computer without having to log into anything. Set up fake accounts on social sites and it would be very hard to find the person who did it. Unless the library has video of people using the computers.

The new info today regarding friend requests being sent from MBs FB account is interesting to me because of this quote "The weekend before the attack, Bevers attended a Camp Gladiator gathering in Austin.A source has told the I-Team some of the people who attended that event were also recipients of the recent Facebook friend requests."

That suggests to me that someone is wanting to either scare OR get information from a select group of people. This isn't just a random FB fubar.

I looked and and could not find any new accounts in MBs name. This may be someone with excellent computer skills, even a hacker. I say that because it appears the requests came from her original FB page.

Something about that CG weekend was not good. Someone may have been really angered by something that happened there, and I am beginning to believe Missy may have been killed because of it!

"Eradicated" and "scour" are two words that stuck out to me. I searched "scour" but don't know if I did it right because a lot of threads came up but none that were related to MB. To search a word, one types the word in the main search box and then enter. Is that right?

New to websleuths and still trying to get the hang of it.

Just a quick thought about the "sticker" on the Nissan Altima.. I have a magnetic surfing appliqué on my Jeep that appears to be a sticker but can be removed....................... were other things done to disguise the vehicle (I.e. Fake plates)

While I agree they probably took measures to disguise the vehicle, If I remember correctly that is on the bumper, therefore it couldn't be magnetic.. as they are fiberglass bumpers.. but i agree with the rest of your comment.

Somehow, somewhere I got the idea the word was "desecrated".

Now that I see what area of the building the altima was parked in, yes I can see how the vehicle is suspicious.
Respectfully BBM. This is just the members opinion of possibility. Not Factual from LE Personally, looks like it is pulling fixing to turn onto HWY 287, jmho

It's a great question about school lockdown. I wonder about the time of the discovery and police response being so much earlier than a typical school day starts and how that may have played into decision-making. But we really don't know if they even considered it. If they thought it was a burglary gone bad, they may not have considered it an active shooter (or murderer) situation. Don't want to get too sidetracked but those are my thoughts to your post. Hope you and yours stay safe and sound.
