PEARLAND, Texas - Crime Stoppers of Houston and a Pearland family are offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the murder of Valerie Young, 59, who was killed just days before Christmas.

Her son, Greg Young, says investigators have ruled out family and close friends as suspects and now worries the case is going cold.

This case should not be allowed to go cold, something very odd with this case, it’s like someone wants it to be forgotten, this was s good woman who was shot in her own garage and her purse and phone stolen.

The Husband has not publicly said a word about the murder of his wife, the family asked police to keep it quiet as it happened before Christmas and they didn’t want Christmas ruined, STRANGE!!

Has her killer been found yet? I lived in Pearland for 13 years, and her house was close to me. Pearland isn't a small town. It's very close to Houston.

Very sad. Rest in peace, Valerie.
