Viridiana Arevalo, 23, was last seen at 8 a.m. on Monday in the 5200 block of Runyon Drive in The Colony, Texas. The CLEAR Alert was issued Wednesday morning. Arevalo is described as 5-feet tall and 130 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black leggings with a pink stripe.

Missing, and Possibly Endangered, Person

On Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 6:50pm, The Colony Police Department was contacted about a possible missing adult female from an address in the 5200 block of Runyon Drive. During the investigation, it was discovered that Viridiana Arevalo, had been missing since Monday, December 16, 2019 at approximately 8:00am. It was reported that the missing person had last been seen by a family member at their residence at 5224 Runyon Drive in The Colony. At that time, the missing person had made some statements about harming herself because of some personal issues. The family member who was with her went to sleep and woke up to find her missing. Because of the missing person’s past, it is believed that she could be in danger if not found immediately.

Viridiana Arevalo is a 23-year-old Hispanic female. She is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 120 lbs. She has black hair with bright red highlights. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a white zipper and black leggings with pink stripes on the side of the leg. A man who called his sister an embarrassment to their family has been accused of strangling her in The Colony, authorities said Monday.

Viridiana Arevalo, who was eight months pregnant, was found dead in an alley Sunday. The 23-year-old woman had been reported missing after she was last seen Dec. 16 at her home in the 5200 block of Runyon Drive.

Her 19-year-old brother, Eduardo Arevalo, has been charged with capital murder because his victim was pregnant when she was killed, police said.
