I'm not surprised. Unfortunately the security services don't have the resources to follow everyone on the terrorist watch list. I wonder what impact this will have on the general election election here in less than two weeks.

Greg, I agree. DH and I discussed this a bit further; from what I'm reading, this happened at the end of the concert when people were exiting. When we were leaving the U2 concert last night, anyone could easily have re-entered the area and wreaked havoc. Even though there was a heavy police presence, I didn't see LE refusing access to anyone coming back in.
We as yet know nothing about the bomber(s) or how the explosion was delivered: suicide bomber? car bomb? Police are pursuing the theory it was a terrorist attack.Has the suicide bomber been identified?
