Another case is listed tomorrow in the same court at the same time as Deveca Rose. Surely it's a typo or something..?

Courtserve says the same. Same court, same judge too (Mark Lucraft must be the busiest judge in the world!)

A possible explanation could be if the Jones case is now in jury deliberation so that they can still use the court for the Deveca trial while the Jones jury is in the deliberation room?

Someone posted this link on another forum I use. It didn't show up when I googled looking for an update.. I've can't believe how hard it's been to find information on this case the whole way through.

In a statement the boys’ family said: “Bryson, Kyson, Leyton and Logan Hoath were cruelly taken from us in a senseless act of negligence. The impact this has had on us, their father Dalton, and our family cannot be overstated.

“The last three years have been a nightmare. Over this time we have had to listen to a number of false narratives and speculation around what happened that night, which have included lights on a Christmas tree and that the boys were left with a babysitter. Today these have been shown to be false.

“Bryson, Kyson, Leyton and Logan were left alone by their mother Deveca Rose, and today she has been found to be responsible for their deaths.

“Our family will now take time to heal and let the boys rest. We wish to thank the Courts, the members of the Jury and the Police Investigation Team for the work they have done to ensure that the boy’s story has been heard and that justice is done.”

So sad. A combination of issues. The dirty home may have been a result of her mental illness struggles. At first glance, I thought she was out partying, but she was actually at the store buying what she couldn't earlier.

Many people failed these children. I wonder what sort of income she had since loosing her job. Government benefits or child support? Were the dads involved, I see the paternal grandmother tried to be a part of their lives.

Rest in heaven, sweet, sweet little boys.

At least she chose not to give evidence. I somehow get the feeling this trial would have gone on for weeks longer if she had taken the stand.

Where was the father?
I get it that he divorced children's mother.
But can you divorce your kids?
Where was family?
Grannies, grandpas, uncles, aunts?
What has happened to familial help and solidarity?
Kind hearts towards innocent children?
:(
