One of Brianna Ghey's killers told her parents and GP she was hearing 'unkind' voices in her head and was put on the waiting list for a mental health assessment only days before she murdered the 16-year-old.

Scarlett Jenkinson's mother, Emma Sutton, told a review that she was 'panicked' by her daughter's revelation in early February 2023.

But a crisis phone call was arranged with a mental health professional and Mrs Sutton was reassured that her daughter was not a risk to herself or others.

Not sure if people have seen this interview but it's with Esther and the head of school Brianna (and Scarlett attended) which I find a bit strange considering there were obvious concerns surrounding Scarlett being moved to a different school after drugging another pupil. Esther also says she and Scarlett's mum are now friends and work together for a charity

The clear issue of Eddie's parents buying their "autistic" son a hunting knife and bringing it back into the UK from Bulgaria, then allowing him to keep the weapon in his bedroom is never mentioned. It is all about clamping down on peoples internet freedoms, which is a shame tbh. The real issue has NEVER been discussed.

*Since her daughter's murder, Esther has campaigned for mindfulness to be implemented in schools and for safer regulations around young people's internet access. In her latest bid to campaign, the mum-of-two is co-hosting a podcast series titled Parents vs The Internet.

The ten-part series sees Esther, a new product development technologist, link up with journalist Liz Hull as they speak with special guests to explore “how we can keep our children safer”. Released this week, episode four sees the team joined by Tanya Goodin, a campaigner on tech ethics and founder of the digital detox movement the Time to Log Off.

Esther said: “Thinking of some of the articles I’ve done, I’ve received some horrific comments on the articles I’ve done. Every so often, I'll go on and see if there’s anything constructive, and quite often, there’s not.

“But one thing is they (the comments) always say mindfulness will result in a society full of narcissists, and that completely misses the point. If we’re constantly on social media, posting and editing photos of ourselves, is that not essentially creating a society of narcissists?”

The mother of a boy who murdered Brianna Ghey has revealed her son 'seemed his normal self' on the night the trans schoolgirl was killed.

On February 11, Ms Ghey was was horrifically stabbed 28 times by two 15-year-olds who had become obsessed with serial killers and violence - Scarlett Jenkinson, who she considered a friend, and another teenager, Eddie Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe's mother Alice Hemmings said in a statement made the day after his arrest that her son claimed to have 'chased Pokemon' and purchased a 'baguette' on the night of the brutal murder.

"A litany of incidents during Jenkinson's time at Culcheth High School in Cheshire has been revealed,
including how she turned up drunk
or smelling of cannabis.

The inquest heard today
the most detailed account yet of the incident
where Jenkinson spiked a 13-year-old girl with cannabis-laced sweets
in the library at Culcheth High
on September 27 2022."
