Nov 15 2012 Flintshire Chronicle
POLICE are still looking for Catherine Gowing’s remains – as the search continues into a second month.
Body parts belonging to the 37-year-old vet were found in Sealand on October 31 and Higher Ferry on November 2.
And North Wales Police said this week the search was continuing – but the force said it would not disclose specific sites.
John Gittins, acting coroner for North East Wales, has opened and adjourned an inquest, but could not give an initial cause of death.
Masses have been held by Father Francis Doyle at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Buckley, where some of Catherine’s friends are among the congregation.

THE MOTHER of slain Irish vet Catherine Gowing has praised the work of Welsh police investigating her death.
Ms Gowing (37), from Clareen, Co Offaly, disappeared on October 12 in Queensferry, Wales.
Catherine's mother, Maureen Gowing, said that the family were very pleased with the conduct of Welsh police – who have kept them updated during their investigation.
She said that they have been "wonderful" to the family.
"The police in Wales have been very helpful," she added.
North Wales man Clive Sharp (46), of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody until January 7 when he is due to enter a plea.
